However, the sales person put some pressure on by putting a expiring deal on the table "as soon as he walks out the door". We didn't feel comfortable with proceeding but we couldn't afford to say no either- it was literally a gamble. So we ended up doing it. I never got any other quotes so I'm not sure how affordable it was, but we're satisfied."

The windows look great and the disturbance to surrounding area was minimal as he hand digs the egress holes. Everything was always buttoned up prior to him leaving each day. "Overall we were satisfied with the quality of the job but we did run into some issues. Sam said it would take 2 days to complete but it ended up taking 6 full days. Unfortunately I had to use a lot more vacation to be home for this than I anticipated. We ran into some issues with the sub-contractors. One guy got nothing done the day he was there and then never showed up the next day. To Sam's credit, he called in another framer and the work was started as soon as possible. The quality was decent but we ended up having to fix some spots ourselves and add some extra framing to make the areas aesthetically pleasing. The crew members were all polite and cleaned up after themselves, which I always appreciate. Sam is very easy to work with and very professional. He takes his business seriously and has high expectations of his crew. Despite the issues we encountered we were still happy with the work and the price."
