"Required the service panel to be relocated in basement do to remodel work. Jake, of Sunflake recommended 2 possible locations that would meet electric code. I suggested a third location that I would prefer to have it installed at. Questionable if the location would meet code. Jake took pictures of the area, emailed them to the inspector, called inspector to discuss my request of location, when inspector could not authorize location without seeing it, Jake arranged to meet inspector at house to confirm the location of service panel location. This was all performed on Jakes time, nearly unheard with contractors. Inspector approved of the location, and the project moved forward and was completed to my satisfaction. I would us Sunflake again as a contractor.show more

"They were great. They did beautiful work. Cleaned up after themselves meticuously. Offered great advice. They were responsive and professional.&nbsp;I would advise checking out everything before they leave though (always a good idea really) as I did find one small spot on a door frame where I think the painter accidentally peeled up some of the paint on the frame, but I know that if I had called them and asked them to come fix it they would have done it ( I just decided to leave it as is). I give them the highest recommendation possible. They are a little pricey, but if you have the money I would use them instead of another firm. Note that I can't really remember what their service cost and that the amount I listed above under approximate cost of service is probably an underestimate. All I remember is that they cost a bit more than some other providers but were worth it. <br />show more

"I had a wonderful experience with Craftsmen Home Improvements ("CHI"). First, they replaced my roof under an insurance claim. They made working with insurance painless, and they did a wonderful and timely job on the roof. The work crew was great and very hard-working. Next, I had them replace my siding with James Hardy. I have a big house, so this was a huge job. The crew was incredible. The were tireless workers, extremely courteous, conscientious, and professional. They made suggestions for improvements outside of the base-level job that made a HUGE difference in our home and those changes were affordable. They worked so hard to make sure I was happy with everything. Last, I had them replace my old wood soffits and fascia with aluminum, and add gutters and downspouts. Again, they did top-notch work. On top of all of this, CHI's communication was great, and their estimator for the work (Jim) continued to be involved throughout the project and I couldn't imagine working with a better person.
