I paid for the work, with reservations, as I wasn't satisfied witht the work. When I contacted him to re-do what I didn't like about the job, all he would say is that I needed window wells. I took him to small claims, and lost. I realized then, that I need to take him to a jury trial. I do not have the money to do so. Dave was quickly able to determine that a replacement was necessary. Pricing was discussed, we obtained additional quotes, and ultimately decided to have Conners Plumbing & Heating complete the actual installation. Pros: Very professional and knowledgeable, respectful of your home (used shoe covers, covered carpeting when removing old heater and bringing the new one in), and easy to work with. Local company (Waseca, MN) with local staff (our installer, Dave, was from Owatonna). Cons: Priced higher than all other quotes that we obtained, and that was even AFTER receiving a 15% discount on the total cost. (We received a 15% discount due to the fact that we signed up for the \"Service Partner\" program). Also, the office staff indicated that our installer would be at our home at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the install but the actual arrival time was later than that because the installer had to obtain the permit and pick up the hot water heater prior coming to our home that morning. To summarize: Even though the cost was greater than all of the other quotes that we obtained, we still opted to utilize Conners Plumbing & Heating because they were knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/mn/waseca/connors-plumbing-and-heating-inc-reviews-6261867.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Kirchner Siding and Window Inc","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"MN","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Steven S."},"reviewBody":"Dean initially came out and did a thorough work up of what would be required to install drain tile, poly sheeting, seal a crawl space and install a radon mitigation system to lower radon levels that we had tested at 6.5 pCi/L to below 4.0. Included in the bid was to install a new sump pump sealed with a Lexon cover and hook up a battery back up for the pump.
The work was completed on time according to the detailed contract. The workers were very friendly and though the project took two days, kept the area clean. A post radon test done with a continuous radon monitor which ran for 51 hours prior to final payment revealed an average radon level of 1.0
Excellent workmanship and customer service.

I made the call around 9:00 a.m. and was told that someone would be out to our home between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. (Same day!) The person answering the phone explained that there was a $79.00 Service/Travel Fee and that "Straightforward Pricing" would be provided, by the electrician, before any work was actually performed. She explained that the Service/Travel Fee would be above and beyond the parts/labor fees. I personally don't believe in paying Service/Travel Fees on top of part/labor fees in situations in which a service is actually being performed and I don't typically do business with companies that charge such fees. However, in mentioning that I thought the $79 fee was extremely high for a Service/Travel Fee and that I would need to check around with some other local electricians, the woman on the phone offered to waive the fee as long as work was actually performed. If no work ended up being performed then she said the $79 fee would apply. I was fine with that approach so I asked her to send someone out. The electrician called our home around Noon to explain that he was on his way and should be arriving in about an hour. (He was also kind enough to ask if that timeframe would still work for me). Upon arriving, promptly around 1:00 p.m., the gentleman introduced himself as Jay Lewis, 30-year electrician (and Master Electrician). He asked me to explain the problem/issue and then put "covers" on his shoes before we headed to the office so that he could actually take a look. He thought he knew exactly what the problem was (and that it was likely the light switch itself, not the fixture) but said that he would take a look, provide an estimate, and review the estimate with me before performing any work. The problem did end up being something different than what he expected but he showed me exactly what was wrong and he explained why he thought it had happened. The work estimate was initially $103 (for the situation that I made the call about) but after I explained that we had a couple of other light switches that were doing the same thing he offered to take a look at those as well -- bumping the work estimate up to $151. I felt that was a fair fee so I approved the work. Jay performed the work in a little less than one hour, cleaned up after himself, and processed my payment, via credit card, right on the spot. He then explained the warranty and left his name and cell phone number with me in case I had any questions or experienced any problems. A 44=95 floor for a steel building and 2 patios on time and great looking
The work was done very professionally. The workers were very polite and let me know what they were doing and if there was anything I could do that would help them out like turning on the outside water for them. They had to bring the patio door in through the house because of a new deck being...

They found that the motor to the unit had quit. They did not have one with them, they had to go back to the warehouse to get a new one. They returned in about 30 minutes and installed the motor. Checked everything out to see that it was working properly and left. They took care to put covers...

FAQs for patio cover service projects in Cohasset, MN
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
