"Tyler worked with our existing interior door frames and installed new 3 panel doors. Our home is old and things have settled but he was able to get all the new doors to open and close with little or no pressure applied. The doors also stay open when opened and stay closed when closed, he is skilled and it shows in the work he does. Tyler was great to work with he came did measurements listened to what we wanted, gave us some suggestions and then got everything ordered. He was able to work with our schedule and even came back and put in some door stops and coat hooks on the new doors. We appreciated his professional clean up that he often did during and after the install. I would 100% hire him again."

Small jobs welcome

I'm a self taught mechanic for over 10 years, from brake jobs to head gasket replacements. I have worked as a phone/device repair technician for 6 years and have made many happy customers whether its installing a new screen or swapping a battery to breathe life back into a trusty device. I can travel within 30 miles of the twin cities metro area. I can provide general maintenance or repairs around your house, from mounting a TV to needing a toilet tank tune up! My work is my pride and I'm very detail oriented, I will be in full communication with you about what you want done and any concerns you may have and not leave any job half baked. Give me a call!

"Great experience and I'm thrilled with the final product. ! I communicated via email with Gina first to get some initial information and to learn about the process/timeline. Gina was very responsive to every communication. I dropped the chairs off and picked them up myself to save a little money; the team at the shop unloaded and loaded the chairs for me once I arrived. Gina provided a thorough estimate and clearly explained what she thought needed to be done - new foam; new board on at least one broken chair base; glue some parts that were wobbly. I also carefully reviewed the website for Twin Cities Upholstery before dropping off my chairs. They have lots of fabrics to choose from in the shop and even more online via the fabric companies they use; and some fabric company partners will send free samples of fabric. This was REALLY helpful for me and I actually selected one of the fabrics from the samples I ordered. I recommend either reviewing fabric samples online or spending time in the shop looking at fabric before dropping off item to be upholstered. There is just so much to choose from. The chairs were completed well within the timeframe promised. I would use this company again in the future!"

"I highly recommend Niola Upholstery services. Manual recovered my Baker couch and two Hickory Chair swivel chairs, and they looked just like the original job. He also recovered 4 bar stools, a bench and a side chair. I could not be happier! He is a professional through and through!"

"i have been going to Bills (proprietor) leather cleaners for over ten years.    Bill takes ultimate care in making sure he can do the best in removing any stains or water spots in my leather and or suede goods.  i have brought in purses, jackets, dresses both in leather and suede and it has always come back as PERFECT.   Bill will even call you when he receives the item to discuss the spots, his assessment  of what he can do to repair it and bring it back to new.  Worth EVERY DIME (and its reasonable) to see your item brand new again !! i have even fed ex"d items to him so he can repair for i trust no one else. "

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

Delaying upholstering projects in Buffalo can result in deeper frame and spring damage, making furniture repair more complex. Worn fabric and padding may trap dust, allergens, or even mold, especially in humid conditions. Neglected pieces can attract pests or become unstable, posing safety risks. Timely reupholstering helps maintain your furniture’s integrity, keeps your home comfortable, and protects your investment.

Helpful?

For minor upholstering projects in Buffalo, start by tightening loose fabric with a needle and strong thread, or use fabric glue for small separations. Patch tiny tears with iron-on mending tape, and rotate or fluff cushions to maintain their shape. Always test fabric cleaners on a hidden area first. Keep indoor humidity stable to help prevent fabric stretching or mildew, especially during seasonal changes.

Helpful?

When planning upholstering projects in Buffalo, choose modular furniture or designs with removable slipcovers for easy updates. Select neutral, durable fabrics that can adapt to new color schemes or layouts. Record detailed measurements and fabric types for future reference. For spaces like three-season porches, opt for weather-resistant materials so furniture can transition seamlessly as your property evolves or expands.

Helpful?

When hiring for upholstering projects in Buffalo, prioritize professionals with local experience and a strong portfolio in furniture repair and reupholstering. Ask for recent references from Buffalo residents and verify their expertise with different fabric types and frame repairs. Discuss project timelines, warranties, and storage options. Be wary of unusually low quotes or limited local experience, as these can impact quality and reliability.

Helpful?

In Buffalo, living room sofas, dining chairs, and home office seating typically require the most frequent upholstering due to daily use. Entryway benches and three-season porch furniture are also prone to wear from temperature and moisture fluctuations. Sunroom pieces exposed to direct sunlight and leather furniture during dry winters may need extra attention to prevent fading, cracking, or loss of comfort over time.
