"Solar Midwest did a very fine job installing a solatube solar lighting project. The installer did not have a critical part for the installation but very competently built a replacement part on site. Since the tube was run two stories it would have been nice if the company supplied trim around the second story holes but they usually have the tube run in a chaseway so there is no need for trim. I will need to build the chase myself. Other than these two small issues the job was completed professionally and cleanly. Sales people were easy to work with and the young man installing the tube was excellent."

"Mike did a great job today. He came to my house on Saturday afternoon to avoid yesterday’s rain. He cleaned and sprayed my roof to get rid of the moss and other stuff growing on my roof. After he finished the roof looked much better. He also inspected and adjusted the bathroom and kitchen fan roof vents to make them work correctly. I will definitely hire him again to spray my roof and other roof repairs as needed."

"Overall we were satisfied with the quality of the job but we did run into some issues. Sam said it would take 2 days to complete but it ended up taking 6 full days. Unfortunately I had to use a lot more vacation to be home for this than I anticipated. We ran into some issues with the sub-contractors. One guy got nothing done the day he was there and then never showed up the next day. To Sam's credit, he called in another framer and the work was started as soon as possible. The quality was decent but we ended up having to fix some spots ourselves and add some extra framing to make the areas aesthetically pleasing. The crew members were all polite and cleaned up after themselves, which I always appreciate. Sam is very easy to work with and very professional. He takes his business seriously and has high expectations of his crew. Despite the issues we encountered we were still happy with the work and the price."
