"This is the fourth project that Greater Lansing Paint Company has completed for us. Ryan has earned our trust over the years and is our go to for all painting and deck staining at our home. He is honest, responsive, and the team does high quality work. For some of the early projects, I got multiple bids and Ryan's price was always reasonable. Now I just get a bid for budgeting purposes as I know it will be a fair price for the work completed. The latest project took 5 days to complete and included patch work as well as painting the walls, trim, doors and ceiling. I was indecisive about paint color and Trudy & Ryan worked with me to narrow down my choices. They were also able to accommodate a last minute decision to paint the cabinets on one of my bathrooms. As always, I am thrilled with the results."

When the installers arrived on day one, they had the old deck tore off and the new deck done except for the stairs. The next day they completed the deck and cleaned up the work site. "After a severe wind storm that ripped off roof shingles which allowed rain into my kitchen, a friend referred me to Nyboer Builders. Jay, the owner, came to assess the situation and counseled us on different ways to tackle the issue. He also came several times to oversee and make sure things were going right once the project was in progress. In the beginning, as the demolish unfolded, they found an area that was previously done improperly and wasn't to code. Knowing it was a hazard to our family, he made sure to call in a structural engineer to fix the framing and roofing matter. He kindly worked with us since the insurance company wouldn't cover it due to it being a skylight issue where the former owner cut trusses. It was an unexpected additional $1200 and with our large family, he was willing to do a payment plan. No fault to the Nyboer Builders Company this part of the project extended the length of the project, which bumped our date to getting things done. However, Nyboer Builders returned immediately to finish the project and did a superb job. All my neighbors thought we were remodeling and came to peek in. Everyone of them (6) were impressed with the kitchen ceiling remodel and the paint job that was done.
