I’m Nick Herman, from the Green Bay area. Most of my career has been in flexo printing — running plants, training operators, and solving problems when the line is down. That same mindset is how I run Woodya Look At That Tree Service. I started it as a one-man operation because I like being on the tools and I like finishing a job clean. I do removals, storm cleanup, and large hardwoods — oaks included — using proper lowering and rigging so we’re not tearing up yards. I’m not a big crew with a fancy truck wrap. I’m the guy who shows up, assesses the tree, and takes it down safely. If that’s what you need, the number is 920-634-6352.

"I contacted a couple of companies for quotes to remove two large pines from our backyard. Jake called back that day, and came out that evening. "The service provider was very nice, the workers were professional, and the patio looks very nice.
I bought this through an Angie's List Deal, so got a fantastic price.
Because of a big response to the Deal it took way too long to get the work done.  I would use this provider again but I don't think I would ever buy an Angie's list deal.

Whether tree roots will continue to grow after a tree has been cut down depends on the species. Some tree roots will eventually die because they can no longer get nutrients through photosynthesis. However, other species that reproduce through root sprouts can continue to grow and produce new sprouts for seven years or more. The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).

In these specific situations, the protection offered by a sealant can outweigh its downsides.
