"Mike and the team removed 8 trees for us in Hiles, WI. Not only were they the lowest bid but they were extremely responsive and completed the work quickly. The quality of work and clean-up far exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any future tree service needs."

"Andy came personally to give us an estimate.  He was on time, personable and professional.  The date was set for the following week.  Crew arrived ON TIME - they worked safely and quickly.  All the work was completed as promised.  The cleanup from taking down the trees was amazing.  I highly recommend their services!"

"We had some trees come down in a wind storm. They hung up in surrounding trees making the work too dangerous to attempt ourselves. Jami returned my request quickly and completed the job within a day or two. He kept me informed and did what was needed."

"The service provider was very nice, the workers were professional, and the patio looks very nice.
I bought this through an Angie's List Deal, so got a fantastic price.
Because of a big response to the Deal it took way too long to get the work done.  I would use this provider again but I don't think I would ever buy an Angie's list deal.

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can prune a palm tree with a chainsaw, but a chainsaw is overkill for a job like this. You risk damaging the tree if you make a bad cut. More commonly, you’ll need pruning shears or a serrated knife to trim a palm tree, or you can use a specialized pruning saw instead of a chainsaw.

The costs vary from $250 to $5,000 per tree, depending on the size, complexity of the trimming, and labor.

Completely topping a plum tree is a risky business. Cut too much, and you’ll kill your tree. That said, you do need to trim the top of your tree to encourage bushy growth, maintain your tree’s vase shape, and limit size.

A plum tree's central leader (or trunk) should never extend more than 3 feet above the highest branch. When you first plant your tree, cut the central leader so it’s 2 to 3 feet tall. As it grows, cut it back 12 to 20 inches until it reaches its desired height. Never prune more than one-third of the new growth.

You can never truly stop a maple tree from growing taller, but you can rein in its growth by pruning. Proper pruning helps maintain a safe size for your tree without causing permanent damage. It’s important to start pruning a tree while it’s young, long before it becomes a problem. Otherwise, you may be left with too many hazardous branches to remove at once.

Grinding down a tree helps reduce the risk of foundation damage and pests and even helps your home’s curb appeal. Stumps can also be a safety hazard. If grass grows above the stump and someone else mows your yard, they may be in for a rude awakening when they accidentally hit it.
