"I had infinity do insulation and an attic blanket for me back at the beginning of winter. I waited to post a review so I could see if it helped keep the house warmer. And it did, I no longer have to bundle up in my home. Outstanding service, I am impressed. I will continue to tell my friends how pleased I am with the work. And the next time i need a project done, I will call infinity without hesitation"

"Bill from WBI was the first to contact us and the first to give us a quote on the insulating of the attic and crawl spaces of our old farmhouse. The price was very fair for the professional quality of work we received. Bill is a very honest, competent, hard-working professional. He got the job done very quickly, and we are beyond pleased with the work he did for us. We can't say enough good things about WBI, and we highly recommend them!"

"Our system is dated and we were advised to plan for the future as the refrigerant is to be phased out by EPA regulations.  We will budget for the future if the rep had not arranged for the follow up this would have proved to be a hardship on our Church Members and definitely a severe blow to our budget and expenses.

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

If you only have tiny holes in your drywall (for example, dents or nail marks), you probably won’t need a patch kit. Instead, you can plug the hole with a small amount of spackle. Once the spackle dries, you can sand the area and paint over it—just like you would in the steps outlined above.

Drywall insulation costs around $1,800, on average, but prices can range from $500 to $4,500, depending on a few different factors. The following things are important considerations to make when pricing out your insulation project:

  • Square footage of insulation

  • Type of insulation

  • Climate in your area and the insulation R-value required

  • Whether or not your walls are already finished

  • Accessibility of the area

  • Whether or not you need old insulation removed first

You can technically just paint over hairline cracks in plaster since these cracks are often harmless, but this will mostly be a waste of paint. Paint will only hide the hairline crack for a few months before it shows up again. The best solution is to repair the crack with flexible filler or joint compound before repainting.

Yes, professionals often repair minor wall openings made for insulation injection to restore the surface.

Water-damaged drywall should almost always be replaced. Not only does it look bad, it’s a breeding ground for toxic mold. Even if you think the area is dry and there’s no active leak, the only way to be sure is to cut out the damaged area and see for yourself.
