"I hired JLM Home Solutions to install all my interior doors and closets including frames/casings in my upstairs. Jason was a horrible person the entire time I hired him. He acted like a nice person just to get hired. I regret hiring him. Unfortunately I had signed a contract by the time I found out he was no good. Every time I brought up something that was not done right, he’d yell and raise his voice at me. He’s very rude and unprofessional with the worst customer service. He was rude on text, rude on phone and rude in person. Jared, I guess one of his employees was a great person, very polite and did an amazing job. He worked on the project in a professional manner. He didn’t come back though to finish the project because Jason sent another person instead, David, who did an awful job. Jason didn’t want to hear it that David’s work was not the greatest. I had to put a stop payment after I found out one of the closet doors wasn’t installed right and other things that were wrong. Jason got so upset that he had to come back to fix the problem after I told him I didn’t want David. Jason came to my house but failed to fix the problem still. Instead he made me feel threatened in my own house. He was all in my face yelling at me saying nothing was wrong with the closet. Even my little dog was scared. I had to call my daughter and son to come over because I was so terrified that he was maybe going to hurt me. I stayed on the phone all the time while he was there so someone could hear his abusive behavior. That day after Jason left, I had to get a second opinion on the closet. Another contractor couldn’t believe the way the closet was installed and for Jason to insist it was okay. He left the old frame on and didn’t want to here when I mentioned it. I’ll have this closet removed and a new one with new frame installed the right way. I had to insist Jason deduct some money for that closet from the balance owed to him. A couple of days later, I noticed my kitchen door they installed still had cracks on the inside frame close to the lock. I had mentioned that to him. I texted him to let him know with pictures showing the cracks. Now Jason won’t respond to my text, email or phone. I asked him to send one of his guys to fix the door. Not him because I don’t want him around me. I’ve tried everything to get to him. I know he’s ignoring me. I paid him so much money for this project. If I don’t hear from him I’ll have no choice but to file small claims. He cannot leave my door like that after I paid him so much money and thinks he can just get away with it. If there was an option of zero stars, that’s what I’d have given JLM."

They did Roofing and Gutters for us as well. We checked out references, and all of their expectations were exceeded. True Craftsmanship by the entire team."

"October 8, 2019 We started with Great Lakes Landcare in 2018. After prepaying for 7 lawn treatments and 1 mosquito control for the season, we were supposed to receive a free aeration according to GLL's verbal and printed out statement. We only received 5 treatments plus the mosquito control. I cancelled the service only to be talked into keeping it for 4 tree treatments, 1 grub control, 2 crab & weed for grass (1 being free from previous year) and 2 weed & feed for grass, plus we were supposed to get the free aeration from the previous year to be done in September. Just spoke with GLL only to be hung up on by Doug after asking about the free aeration from previous year and saying I wanted to cancel their service for next year. Called back and was told by James that he never said we would get the free aeration this year and it should never have been promised to us for free the previous year (which I have in writing on THEIR contract), and that it's not his (James') problem! "They bent over backwards for us! Go take your business elsewhere!" First of all, GLL did not bend over backwards for us! They only came out for the exact amount of times we paid for; we never asked for anything extra, although I did tell Tim when he applied our last treatment how bad the lawn looked, and our lawn looks horrible! We have more crabgrass than ever and tons of weeds! Not to mention, STILL NOT getting the free aeration we were supposed to receive from the 2018 season! I would have never used their services again if I weren't assured that we would still receive the free aeration from the 2018 season! Waiting for Anthony the owner to call me, but not holding on to much hope that he will! I do NOT recommend using this company. They lie to get your business, lie to try and keep your business, and don't care if you are satisfied with their services! I gave them a second chance, but will NEVER give them another. They definitely don't deserve YOUR business UPATED 10/9/2019 of Work: UPDATE from 10/7/19 Review Text: UPDATE: Anthony (owner) called me yesterday and said we would receive our free aeration tomorrow (today). I was skeptical, but Mark is here doing it now. Showed Mark all paperwork so he could see that we were not fabricating anything; he offered the information that the free aeration was a promotion to match other lawn companies. James LIED saying "that it never should have been promised to us, too bad, not his problem and take your business elsewhere!" Thank you Anthony for calling me back and fulfilling the contract, but if you continue employing people like James and Doug, your company will continue losing customers. I still recommend NOT using this company for your lawn care needs!"

"As of today (Jan 26, 2025), it has been 15 months since we paid the deposit for our sunroom to Four Seasons Sunroom of Ann Arbor, and we are still waiting. Not knowing about the agony that we are going to go through, we gave Four Seasons Sunrooms of Ann Arbor three major projects: Project 1: Replace our old sunroom with a new one. We paid the deposit in October 2023. From that time, we have been given reasons to postpone the project such as: - Corporate is delaying - Warehouse is doing inventory - Delivery scheduling manager is on vacation - Our crew is now on another job - Inflation/post COVID economic/labor issues - If I pay more money, they will have the sunroom delivered immediately (which I refused for the obvious reasons) Unfortunately, in July of 2024, we gave the "go ahead" to have the old sunroom removed, based on reassurance that our sunroom delivery/installation is right around the corner. That was about six months ago. Now the back of our house is exposed to the elements where siding is missing, causing mold and deterioration to existing structure. Not to mention flood, snow, ice sheet right outside our backdoor. It is also these conditions which has drastically limited the access to the garage for my wife's elderly mother, who has mobility issues. Going with Four Seasons Sunroom of Ann Arbor has been a nightmare for us, to say the least. Project 2: Converting part of garage into a bedroom/bathroom. After almost 1 year of very slow progress, they gave us an unfinished bedroom/bathroom. I eventually ended up hiring my own painters, handyman to finish the project (paid for from the balance which I would have owed to Four Season if they had finished the job) so we can move on with our lives. Project 3: Build a detached garage next to our house. Four Seasons Sunroom of Ann Arbor applied for the permit for this project, and asked me to source it to a third party contractor, referred by Four Seasons of Ann Arbor. I paid the deposit for this project based on assurance that obtaining the permit for this project is not a matter of "if" rather "when". Their permit was denied in the end, and I still have not received a reimbursement for the deposit. It is quite apparent that I am not alone in this agony. There are others who have posted about the hardship they have faced after they gave money to Four Seasons Sunroom of Ann Arbor. We are now seeking help from various consumer protection bureaus and obtaining legal assistance in hope to have our issue resolved."
