I have designed everything from garage additions to 40,000 SF estates. With experience in multiple residential styles, I work closely with the Owner to provide or enhance each individual vision. I have completed over 150 residential additions (including historic designation), and new design home projects in Michigan, Texas, Las Vegas, and the Middle East. I�m Rufino and I am a designer with a range of construction skills. I have been on a construction site helping my dad since I was about 3 feet tall. I enjoy fine carpentry and furniture building, excel at residential design and remodeling, and make a living doing it all. I have a Bachelor�s degree in Architecture from Lawrence Tech where I was trained to think outside the box, question the rules, and dig deeply to find the best design solution for the problems at hand. He worked with my husband and me to create a modern design that encompassed our ideas. He introduced us to options that are more current in design as well. He created 3D images of our proposed master bathroom and custom closet using our material choices. These images were incredibly helpful in understanding what the finished rooms would look like. His calm demeanor put me at ease with the project and took away my reservations of having our home renovated. Also, having workers in your home can be stressful and Rufino completed the work in the time proposed! Most importantly, I feel Rufino is very trustworthy and was very accessible to me during the project - answering my questions and communicating the next steps in the work being done via cell, text and email. Our bathrooms and closets were finished with detailed workmanship and expert service. He worked hard to make sure we were totally satisfied. They look simply AMAZING. "Marsh contracting came in and took our 50+ year old bathroom and made it into a great, functional space. I wish I could explain the awfulness of the "before" situation they were facing. Tile and plaster 3 inches thick; square, heavy bathtub that need to be removed; galvanized steel pipes with years of corrosion blocking water flow. They had great suggestions for improvements and helped us stay within our budget while still taking care of the things that needed to be done. They were prompt and worked quickly; the only hiccup was on our side with a delivery issue, and they were able to work around it and keep the project rolling. Bob and his team were upfront with us on everything, and I felt that I had a clear idea of how the project was moving along, next steps, and the timeline for completion. Communication was never an issue, whether via email, phone, or text. And my super picky Father in Law has even complemented the great tile work!"

I had a list of 10-15 local engineering companies given to me by the permitting office. Very few would return my call. several the rest said they only do commercial or that this was too small of a job and would cost more. It was taking months and I was frustrated and decided to try Angie’s. I am so pleased. I had a response that very day I inquired for the job. It was clear what was needed from me. Great communication and answered questions to help me get them what they needed. The project from start to finish was drafted within 3 weeks. It could have been done sooner but I was traveling and not able to check emails. Once I told them to text me to alert me of an email they did that. I would highly recommend them."
