I have supervised / worked on hundreds of projects ranging in size from several hundred to over one hundred fifty thousand sq feet. I have worked on projects covering a variety of industries including at UofM, Chelsea, Sparrow, and Beaumont hospitals, several urgent care facilities and properties such as Google, Amazon, government offices, retirement facilities, graduate student housing, churches, home renovations, and many more. As a site foreman, responsibilities have included maintaining the project schedule, reading blueprints, ordering materials, running crews of up to 20 painters, and ensuring site safety (including COVID protocols) and quality workmanship.

Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. He is extremely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his trade. His communication skills and integrity were second to none. I don’t know how he handles all the stress, but he makes it look easy. When you’re considering hiring a painter, a quote should include the following items:
