"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

They had to remove tape residue from window casings, smooth out chipped trim, repair cracked plaster, etc. This project took several days and they were very good about leaving the place clean at the end of each day. "I just had Handyman Connection do 2 bathroom upgrades: replacing lights and reconfiguring the electrical switches, which included plastering the big hole left by the old fixtures, removing wallpaper and painting, installing permanent shower curtain rod fixtures and new blinds. They also replaced a vent and put down trim in my front entrance. The work was beautifully done and the price was very reasonable. Joe Cox communicates clearly, provides a detailed outline of work for the estimate, offers options and recommendations as needed, and was thorough in making sure that we were on the same page as the worker before beginning. He was also flexible about doing the add-ons that came up while he was here (work in the front hall). I highly recommend this company and plan to use them in the future for other home projects."
