"Our sliding door was ordered and installed on time with appropriate correspondence. The installers were nice but attempted to leave the job without ensuring that the door was squared and closed completely. When I pointed this out to them in the driveway, they came back and addressed the issue. Later in the evening I noticed that an weather seal inside the door was clearly damaged (visible by rips and tears in a black seal showing white insulation beneath) in a way not possible by use. I called the company on numerous occasions, sent numerous emails with photos of the issue starting on the day of installation and now, four months later, I have only received follow-up calls from the company when they're canceling an appointment to repair the issue and have never received a follow-up call on how they will address the issue. The door and installation was paid in cash. I would seriously reconsider using Markin for any large job as this was just one door and I've been waiting four months now."

Bronson developed very clever and cost-effective ways to resolve floor, wall and joist issues. ** During each phase of the construction, Bronson developed thoughtful and clever touches. The lofted garage included an old second floor door for ventilation, and Bronson designed a design the new door that retained some of the prior feeling with a new and fresh update. ** We wanted to retain some of the historical feel to the interior, and Bronson cleverly retained some of the original paneling without feeling overwhelming. He framed the wall to make it a focal point without looking old. It is one of my favorite parts of the house. The lake cottage has been in our extended family for almost 50 years. It has been a great retreat for us, but it is now a proper home with personality and functionality to match. This project has literally transformed the house. "If I could give less than one star I would. Hired Alvie to replace a porch and install some new exterior doors. He bid the job, took the 50% deposit and I chased him for weeks to start. Didn’t purchase supplies he quoted and I paid for. Rarely showed up when he said he would. Tons of excuses. Asked for gas money to come work on my job Then wanted more money before job was completed. The work done was not as agreed or quoted. Finally ended up firing him. Have to hire someone else to finish work"
