"I wish I could post pictures of my driveway after only 5 years. Cement is cracked and several chunks are coming out. I called the owner after the very first and second winters to express concern about cracking and chunks. He said it was faulty concrete and had ME call the concrete company HE bought the concrete from. They came out and tested the concrete and said it was the underlayment. I had the concrete tested with a geologist who found that the concrete did have fiberglass in the mix. I have talked to the owner of this company several times and his only remedy was that he would supply labor if I wanted to buy the concrete. Not a great option. Now I am looking for someone to repair the driveway. Also, most of the 5 star reviews on this page are from friends of one if his family members."

we are a well known roofing , excavating, and all types of concrete company as poured walls.

"After down-payment job was supposed to start in 3 weeks. 3 months later the workers finally showed up. Metal roof was supposed to go over original roof, chimney knocked down and new lumber installed, new fascia, sofit and gutters were supposed to be installed along with a dumpster to throw the debris. New lumber was not installed. Sofit was not replaced. A dumpster was not brought so there is still a mess on the side of the house of roof debris and pallets they brought material on. The roof was not ridge vented so now there is drywall damage because the roof sweats and it leaks down into the house now."

You can pour concrete over asphalt if it’s in good condition, thick, stable, and well-compacted. Concrete is more durable than asphalt and can extend the lifetime of your driveway without having to pay frequent asphalt driveway repair costs or replace it completely. 

But this is best reserved as a temporary solution based on budget restraints, as asphalt requires more frequent repairs and assessments than concrete. Once that concrete top is poured, it’ll be harder to accurately understand what’s happening beneath that layer, which could lead to more issues.

The most idyllic building material that encapsulates the feel of Federal architecture is a brick facade, often with bricks alternating between long side and short side. Palladium and arched transom windows are also prevalent, as are flat, white window lintels. More ornate Federal architecture buildings also include columns on either side of the front door. More important than most of the finer details, though, is the symmetry from the exterior. On the interior, ornate plaster moldings and plaster ceiling medallions are indicative of the style.

If you don’t put gravel under concrete, the concrete can crack, sink, bow, or crumble. You can technically install a chain link fence without any concrete. However, your fence will be less stable and more likely to shift or lean over time. 

Instead, try setting the terminal, gate, and corner posts with concrete and filling the line post holes with dirt. You’ll build a stable foundation without spending all afternoon mixing concrete.
