Scheduling took several tries, due to full workload but upon arrival work and cleanup was completed in good time and to my total satisfaction!

Tony Ferrazza and his crew did an outstanding job. They managed to slip this "smaller" cement job into their extremely busy schedule without cutting any corners on quality and professionalism. Tony and his crew arrived on the first day, knocked out the prep work, then came early the next day to pour the cement. Our lawn was protected from their equipment with plywood each day. The clean-up was amazing. Even our neighbors commented on how clean the crew left our lawn and street - as if they were never there. The "brown tone" sealer was applied later the same day. I was initially concerned with the "blotchy" appearance of the patio surface after the sealer was applied, but was told it would even out as the cement cured. They were completely correct. The "brown tone" finish turned out even and beautiful.
Tony and his crew were very professional and did excellent work at a very competitive price on a tricky washed exposed aggregate finish. I am completely satisfied with the quality of work performed.

They did a terrific job. I was really, really pleased with them. The man took over the design and it turned much more than I had expected. It was done on time, they cleaned up and went home. The price was a little high but when it was done, I was really happy with it.

We had Tony come out in March 2012 for a stamped concrete patio estimate. We were pleased with his estimate, and he said that we'd be in touch, and would be looking at about July 2012 for the job to get done. We tore out our deck on July Fourth weekend of 2012, preparing for the patio at the end of the month. Our job kept getting pushed back further and further, and we had to do a lot of calling about the job to find out about the delays in the scheduling. Finally, we were told that they could install the patio in late October of 2012. By this point, we said that we would rather be put on the schedule right at the very start of Spring 2013 so that our patio wasn't under snow a month after installation. Spring 2013 rolled around, and I had to contact Tony many times, and finally just had to say that I didn't think that we could wait any more for the job to be done. Our patio got installed in late June of 2013. Overall, we really like it. Two days after install, I felt like there were some cracks in the patio that I wasn't sure were normal. I took pictures of the cracks and emailed them to Tony, but I never heard back from him. I was worried that water would get into them over winter, expand when it froze, and make the cracks larger. I was very disappointed not to hear back from Tony. Personally, I found him to be a very, very nice person. I would even consider calling him in the future because I do feel that his work was very good overall. I would not, however, recommend him to a friend, as his level of responsiveness is just not what I would want friends to experience. I think that he is just very busy, and our job was on a very small scale, although it was very important to us, and a big investment on a limited budget. He did end up giving us a discount after the fact, which we didn't ask for. If I knew that he was going to give us a discount, I would have had the patio made a bit larger. Tony and his entire crew are great guys, but it was an extremely long and frustrating process for us to be waiting for the patio installation.

We solicited multiple bids for this job. Mr. Ferrazza personally came out to provide our quote. His was the lowest in price; however, we didn't give him the job based on price alone. It was Mr. Ferrazza's honesty and character that won him our trust. We live in a new subdivision where there are always two or three homes being built. Mr. Ferrazza started his conversation with us by saying "don't get me wrong, I would love your business, but I want you to know that your developer's concrete contractor would probably be able to pour your patio for less than I can." He explained that the developer's contractor has his equipment and crew here on a regular basis and could pour our patio with extra material from one of the homes being built. Afterward he took 15 minutes to teach us about the job and how it should be done... "no matter who you choose."
Needless to say his friendly nature, honesty and low price cinched the deal.
The work itself went flawlessly. Mr. Ferrazza followed up with a phone call the next day to ensure we were pleased with the experience.
Post Script - Although we went with a standard slab (not stamped or decorative) we were very impressed with Mr. Ferrazza's portfolio of other jobs he has done. The man is an artist.

They did a good job. They certainly do quality work. They have a fairly large crew. They do a project in a short amount of time, given their labor force. They all seem to be able to do different aspects of the job at the same time, and they coordinate well.

FERRAZZA was one of my best experiences when it comes to working with a contractor. From the point where we met with Mike to get an estimate, until completion. Mike walked us through the planned process of installing the patio, explained the options, and under no point did I feel pressured to spend more than I needed. I got a call a week before the scheduled day to confirm the time and to make sure they were expected. On the installation day, after the pond hole was filled, the outline of the patio was re-drawn to make sure we're OK with that (before that it was hard to define the outline). They even expanded the original design/size to accommodate last-minute changes (at no additional cost). At our request, the crew even helped (with their powerful skid-steer "toy"...) take out an old root from that back area (they struggled a good 20 minutes with that). I would definitely use them again for contracting work.

- Removed existing asphalt driveway and hauled away. Installed forms, corrected layout with smooth curves and matching to existing sidewalks and street. Prepared base by scraping and filling to proper depth for six inches of concrete. Tamped base with compactor and installed rebar.
- Poured concrete on second day. Nine competent people worked together to pour, smooth, level and stamp edges.
- Next day the surface was completed by cutting expansion slots and applying a sealer.
- Landscaping was repaired, sod cut back and black dirt added to match driveway height. Waste material was hauled away.
- Tony Ferrazza, the owner/contractor, was present every day and worked right along with his men. Several times as questions arose, he explained the situation and asked for our input. We are very pleased with the results.
