"WE had a door lock at our Corp office that broke and wouldn't open. Of course it happened At 4:30 on a Friday. Mike and his team got on it right away. It's nice to have people who care about their quality of work and their customers needs"

"It's only been a couple of weeks so it's hard to judge the quality and no further mentions of the free tablet offer BUT the installer did a great job! Daily clean up was excellent and job was done quickly and looks great. Sales did a very good job explaining the options. In a year if I take this survey again I would expect all 5's."

"We had our house and pole barn roofs replaced. Our experience with BR Roofing could not have been better. From the first phone call throughout the project BR Roofing was helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. They completed the job in one day and did an amazing job. The crew was efficient, considerate and very professional. The crew cleaned up very well. The next day a different crew came to complete the clean up and check the work. The owners were involved and on site a couple of times. Gus came later in the week to check to see if we had any concerns and again to inspect the clean up. He again contacted us the next week just to make sure we were happy with the job that was done. We are super pleased with the appearance of our buildings! I highly recommend BR Roofing!"

"The service provided by Ayers was great! Blew the doors off Ark Foundation out of Fowlerville....who wasted my time and never followed through. Ayers salesperson was thorough and professional. The crew showed up on time and man did they ever work... Haven't had a drop of water in my basement since."

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

Window screens are available in several standard sizes. Common dimensions include 24 to 36 inches wide by 36 to 48 inches tall, as well as sizes like 18 by 14 inches and 20 by 20 inches. These often correspond to standard window sizes, such as 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall or 4 feet wide by 6 feet tall. Screens are also sold in replacement rolls to accommodate various dimensions. It is always best to measure your windows for accuracy before a repair or replacement. If your windows are a non-standard size, you will likely need to order custom screens, which can increase the cost. However, a screen does not necessarily have to fit the entire window, so you may be able to use a standard-size screen even if your window is slightly larger.

Ensures proper fit and function, maximizing insect protection and airflow.

You can add any type of window to a brick house, so long as the window has proper support. Windows with wider openings and windows in brick walls will need a lintel to support the extra weight above the window frame. A lintel is a support beam that distributes the weight from above evenly around the window.

There are different types of screen materials available when purchasing a screen door, but the two main options are fiberglass and aluminum. Fiberglass is lightweight and affordable, but can stretch out, so it needs to be replaced more often. Aluminum has a higher upfront cost, but is more sturdy. Aluminum can be more difficult to install, even if you know how to replace screen door mesh.

Adding a window to a brick house costs $3,100 to $10,575. Because you’ll need to make changes to the structure of the home, the cost will include obtaining permits and hiring the best pros for this complex job. Larger windows will cost more to install, and the cost can vary based on the window frame material you choose.
