"I bought a home in Madison Heights in 2012. It was built in 1959. I didnâ t know until recently why it was cold in certain area of my house. I was referred by a friend/contractor to Tom with Dana Insulation. Tom came out on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He said there are a few places where heat is lost. The attic, basement (where the top wall meets the house called the shoulder. Tom went up in my attic and said there was decent insulation but it should have more. While he was there he recommended a few roof vents due to air circulation problems. (I had no soffit vents). Long story (sorry) is the crew came out as well as Steve. Steve who was in charge is a very humble, knowledgeable, personable and amazingly honest human. The crew did a job on my house that turned not only amazed my girlfriend and I but exceeded my expectations. My cold back bedroom rooms are no longer cold after filling the gaps with blown in insulation. The temperature is steady and even. Itâ s amazing how much of a difference insulation literally (on every level) of my house made. Itâ s a smaller home but I love it and plan on staying here forever. When the job was done, Steve came out so I could sign off. He said â Now you can have your home back.â That stuck with me because he really cared and treated this home like it was his own.
