"After dealing with a number of unprofessional, unresponsive services, it was great to find this service. Excellent work. Instantly responsive on a Sunday and able to accommodate an immediate request. Very clean, organized, friendly, and took the time to explain the problem and best solution. Pricing was good. Came highly recommended by others in my area (Southwest Michiigan). Would use again"

"Was looking for someone to clean carpets. Called Tim. What a nice young man & very concise of customer service. Not only did he do an excellent job but made sure that I was satisfied with the job he done. Have made arrangements to have him help with some other projects. I would HIGHLY recommend Tim. "I tried to fix my own sinks, but ended up having to turn off the water. I called Integregity Plumbing late Wednesday night. Steve was over first thing the next morning. He was prompt and friendly. Not only did he fix both sinks and restored my water, he brought both my bathroom sinks up to code. While he was working, I asked him several different questions about other problems I had in my house. He was very helpful. If I need any other help with plumbing problems, I will definitely call Steve again!

"Excellent! I called them and they responded within 10min. They inspected my drain outside of the egress window in a day. A day later they cut the concrete, put a sump pump in the basement. They were right on time. We had several contractors come before and they said “we cannot doing anything”, “shop vac the drain”. They are quiet. And they replaced the dry wall and it cosmetically beautiful. I recommend highly."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

Drain Cleaning FAQs, answered by experts

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.

Yes, short hair can clog a drain. While you might be tempted to blame the long-haired people living with you for a clogged drain, hair—no matter the length—can combine with soap scum and leftover shampoo to create a perfect storm of sticky mess that can cause your drain to slow down.

To unclog a plumbing vent, you first need to locate it. Look at your home's roofline. The plumbing vent will be a vertical pipe sticking straight up from the roof. Since this pipe runs all the way to the main drain underneath your house, you should also be able to find it in the attic.

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

Yes, you can use hydrogen peroxide to unclog a drain. Instead of using a baking soda and vinegar solution, you can use baking soda with hydrogen peroxide. The process to unclog a drain is the same as with vinegar, but use 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide instead.
