"TREVOR AND JUSTIN WERE GREAT. THEY WERE ON TIME AND WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. MOVED FURNITURE, USED DROP CLOTHES and MOVED EVERYTHING BACK WHERE IT WAS. The only problem I had was that they were difficult to get in touch with. But I persevered and was able to make an appointment for their services. They are also schedule to come back at the end of the month to stain my new fence."

"One could not ask for a more professional office staff, Joyce, owner, Bill, and work crew headed by Kevin. I have used this company for several years now and am very pleased with the exceptional quality of work and both the company's and workers work ethic. They exceeded my high standards. If 20% or more of your fence is damaged, pros will often tell you that it’s a better use of your money to replace the fence entirely. Severe rotting and insect damage always call for a replacement. However, if you’re just dealing with a few loose posts or a little bit of mildew growth, you can repair the fence.

For the most part, goats are friendly and won’t charge at you, but there are exceptions to this rule, as there are with any animal handling practices. Typically, goats don’t attack unless they feel threatened. Avoid cornering or rough handling goats to avoid getting head-butted, bitten, or kicked, and always supervise goats when they’re near children or pets.

There are different types of pet fencing available to keep your furry family member safe:

  • Chain link fencing is an affordable but not visually appealing option.

  • Vinyl panel fencing is less easily damaged than wood. 

  • Wood fencing is customizable but requires regular maintenance. 

  • Metal iron fencing provides a sleek look but doesn’t block your pet’s view. 

  • Electric fencing eliminates the need for a traditional fence, but it could be painful to your pet. 

  • Picket fencing adds to your curb appeal but won’t contain most pets. 

  • Brick or stone fencing stops pets from digging out of the yard but costs more.

Generally, the height of your dog fence should be 3 times the distance from the ground to your dog’s shoulder. For most small breeds, a 4-foot high fence will be more than enough to keep them from jumping out. Medium-sized breeds like Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and German Shepherds will need at least a 5-6 foot fence to stay contained. Large breeds that are also excellent jumpers, such as Greyhounds, may need a 7-foot high fence. 

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.
