"Both days were great. Each day, while the work was ongoing, the crew chief would stop by once in a while to make sure things were going as expected. The crews were prompt and efficient. Clean up was thorough."

"Ryan from Mac Tree Management was very personable. He provided us with an offer we couldnâ  t refuse. Based on the other estimates that we received, Mac Tree Management offer was fair. Ryan and his team were very professional, they laid plywood on our lawn to prevent tire tracks in the yard. They cut the trees down, but the stump grinder was out of commission that day. I paid Ryan and he promised to return to finish the job once the grinder was repaired, and he did. I highly recommend Mac Tree Management!!!!"

"Great company and very well represented. They gave me a fair price to remove a very large tree between my house and the power lines. Could not ask for more. Highly recommended."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

It depends on the problem, the affected part of the tree, the risk of the pathogen spreading, and the overall health of your tree. Many diseases, fungal infections, and insect infestations can be successfully treated, especially if the issue is only in a few branches. However, if a disease is too widespread, too severe, too easily spread, or in the roots, the tree will likely need to be removed.

Full decorating services often provide rental trees for their Christmas packages, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding one. However, individual interior decorators and others may not offer rented trees, so always check the specifics of their services before booking. Keep in mind that you’ll need to prepare the Christmas tree for pick-up shortly after the holidays.

If it’s your property, then you can plant a tree near power lines, but it’s not the best idea. Any vegetation that grows within 10 feet or so of power lines will fall under the responsibility of the utility company, and they may trim or remove it as necessary. If you do move forward with your plan, try to choose a smaller ornamental tree, plant it as far away from the power lines as you can, and keep it trimmed to avoid future problems.

Yes, it is highly recommended to remove tree stumps. Leaving them in the ground can lead to several problems, as they are not only unsightly but can also reduce your property's value. Stumps can obstruct landscaping plans, make mowing difficult, and hinder new growth. More importantly, they are prime breeding grounds for pests like termites, ants, and mice, which can spread to your home and cause costly damage to its wood and foundation. Stumps also attract fungi and diseases that can infect other healthy trees and plants in your yard. As a stump decays, it might sprout new, unwanted shoots. While removing a stump is an investment, it prevents these potential issues and enhances the safety, health, and appearance of your landscape.
