"I am terrible with names, but the sales guy came out and looked around the house, and gave us a rough estimate of under $20k to install vinyl siding, cover the trim with aluminum, retrim the windows, and install new gutters and downspouts. We told him we were interested in doing the project so he measured everything and provided us with a quote well under what he had originally estimated. He was able to help us finance most of the project. We picked out the colors of the siding and trim. He had several samples of the materials. He told us they may be able to squeeze us in in October but it may not be until December before they could get to us. They called us on a Thursday and told us to be ready for them on Monday. It took them 7 work days to finish the job. Half a day was lost to rain. We gave them a code to get into the garage to work. The house looks amazing. They even left us a sample of each material they used for color matching paint and such and 2 tubes of the caulk they used. I would definately hire them again."

"-- MHI Painting did a great job with my project from estimate to completion. Mike was willing to explain what he wanted to do and why he wanted to do it. I’m not a DIY person, so hearing his explanations helped me understand his proposal. -- The job consisted of repainting kitchen and family room in the same colors which I really liked but were old and needed freshening. Billy took switch plate covers to the paint supplier to get a match. It also included painting new wood trim around a recently replaced patio door. The workspaces painted included tray and coved ceilings. -- Billy’s team did an excellent job of painting and clean-up and showed respect for my property. -- This is the second time I have used MHI and they have now done both exterior and interior work for me. "Nice crew, not precise for interior homes. Required paint removal on many doorknobs and wood trim as well as a trip back to correct errors. Would probably suffice for cottages or outdoor paint projects. Again, very nice crew."

"I REALLY liked the salesperson that we bought it from. HE was excellent. When there was a glitch with our siding order, he came back out to check things out. HOWEVER, the guy who put up our siding was not real particular. He cut off our gutters when they were to be removed and re-hung. I AM pleased that the company replaced them without any hassle. The siding was over hanging the gables. It wasn't until we said something that he fixed it. That was the overall problem. Unless we caught a problem, it would have remained. While it might be our house itself, the siding installment is not what I'd consider "A". I don't think that I should be the one pointing out mistakes and getting them fixed. I think that they should have just been fixed. I'm glad that the guy was nice. But the end result was not installed like we had pictured."

"They helped us decide on the type of paint finish, and were very patient as we tried a couple of shades of paint and helped us with every aspect of doing an entire exterior paint job.  It was an absolutely huge job and they really exceeded our expectations.  They painted everything including all the trim, cedar shake, gutters and railings and ceilings on our large, wrap around covered, two-story porch and deck.  They even cut down a tree for us that was in the way of the painting that we had wanted to take out! 



The project manager, Kevin, was here everyday checking on progress, talking to us.  All the workers were so nice and very careful with everything and respectful of our home.  It was a great experience and the house looks brand new and just beautiful.  Would recommend the entire crew to anyone.  Very, very thorough.
