These guys seemed to be really knowledgeable about their work when I would ask them questions. They were always super friendly and eager to address any concerns I had about brick type, porch design, job time frame etc. The guys finished the work sooner than they promised me and the porch looked awesome. Highly recommend this company to anyone interested in hiring someone to do any type of brick or cement work around their house or commercially. "I hired MAC Landscaping & Design in May 2020 to install a French Drain and subsequent regrading for the backyard. My neighbor told me this would be a waste of money as â environmental engineers,â â city officials,â and â multiple companiesâ she contacted said the pooling of water couldnâ t be fixed. Mike came to my home, took detailed measurements, and told me (with confidence) he could give me a dry backyard. One year later, after the snow came and melted, after downpours and freezing temps, I saw the proof that his design worked, and now I watch my neighbors deal with stagnant water while I enjoy a beautiful, healthy lawn. But my main reason for writing this review (as I typically do not) is for the back patio Mike installed off my kitchen. During Mikeâ s initial visit for the French Drain, I had inquired about wood or vinyl decking and what he would charge to install one. I had received quotes for both materials from several companies and wanted to see how Mikeâ s would compare. Mike explained why he wouldnâ t recommend this for my yard (issues related to moisture) and suggested a raised paver patio instead. Within a week, I was sent a 3D design detailing the layout and explaining the costs. Not only was his design esthetically pleasing, but it also cost less than the wood or vinyl decking. I agreed and have never been happier with the results of a home project. This patio and backyard have been a lifesaver for me! I saw how Mike and his crew worked; they were on time, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Being so please with the backyard, I ended up having the front of my home redone. Mike installed a beautiful walkway and large front porch (to match the back) and planted shrubs, flowers, put down mulch, and lighting. I honestly canâ t say enough good things about Mike and MAC Landscaping & Design! Thanks, Mike!"
