They were great-The crew that came here-( John-Dave and Richie) went above and beyond- they were polite-knew all about their system and answered all questions-fixed a few other problems that I asked that weren't in contract-they were great with my little dog and careful not to ruin anything- They explained everything and I always knew what was happening! I was impressed!

It went excellent! They dug under the slab beneath each post and installed brackets on each post and helical piers deep into the ground (12 feet in our case but they can go up to 25 feet) and added cement under the slab. They even lifted the slab where it had sunk back to its original position. The piers are also adjustable and they showed us how, by cranking large bolts attached to the brackets which sit on top of the piers. The porch will never move again (and it is guaranteed), so we can fill in the cracks and they will not happen again. When they were done they put back the dirt they had dug out and cleaned up the area well. We had gotten inspections and estimates from several other foundation repair companies and none of them had the knowledge and experience that this company has. They are the manufacturer of the helical pier systems and they also provide installation services as well. We are so pleased with the job they did and had such an excellent working experience with everyone we dealt with, from the sales person to the office staff to the foreman and service workers.

  • Northland Basement Systems
Northland did a great job. They raised the slab a significant amount, closing the gap at the bottom of the garage framing. Additional foam injection was done throughout the entire slab to close off any voids. On the outside, they demolished and removed an add-on lean-to and added soil fill and pitched the grade away from the garage. Shortly after the job was completed, we had a heavy, driving rain towards that side of the garage. I was impressed in that there was no further washout of any soil show that underneath the slab has been well sealed.

  • Steven Reed
After hearing no response from several other masons in the area, and having one contractor quit on us, Steven was one of the few that called us back. He came out a few days later and quoted the job. He works for himself so his quote was lower than others we had gotten. He also could put us into his schedule in the next two weeks. He failed to call a couple times when he said he would, but we would usually hear from him a day or so later. This happened a couple of times, due to delays or other things that had come up. He was delayed a couple days getting started, due to other project commitments, but the whole job took him less than 3 days. He does quality work! The repair is perfect. The new wall is also perfect. Watching this guy work, you can tell he's been doing this for 30 years. He's fast, but he's also precise. I would have no hesitation hiring him again!

Excellent service job completed quickly, price seems high but that is the going rate in my area

He has worked several jobs for my dad in the past and he's been very good. He is going to fix a leak in my basement.

These guys are amateurs, stay away. They use "old school" pouring/leveling techniques and very poor fill and site preparation. These combined resulted in my slab cracking and heaving over the first winter. The surface also chips from poor cream rise and troweling. They also argued with me about what I wanted in my slab, not wanting to do exactly what I wanted. They also did a super bad job leveling it--it doesn't drain at all, water pools everywhere. I could have easily done a better job myself and in retrospect wish I would have.
