"Roofing Service Specialists are extremely professional and did a very thorough job of cleaning the exterior of our home. "Fantastic! Super responsive - got a quote quickly and scheduled easily. Service had to be delayed due to weather (cannot power wash when it's freezing), which was completely out of their control. Very impressed that I received a call from both the cleaner and the office to let me know that work needed to be rescheduled.
Work was done quickly and professionally. Results are fabulous. I am so happy I don't have to do the work myself!!!!

"Rick was very personable. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it. The hole was patched evenly and looks like there was never a hole there. Recommended how to paint bathroom walls, and gave me his card for a discount on paint. I will be using his services again.

Sandblasting Services FAQs, answered by experts

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
