"Was amazing about getting my house both tested for lead paint and then having the lead paint encapsulated on the exterior of my home. I had to have the exterior of my home repainted before a certain date as a requirement for my FHA loan and they got it done as soon as the weather permitted."

"The service went really well. They did a really good job. The price was good. There were two people that came to complete the service and they were here for less than an hour. They were just very professional, prompt, and on-time. They left the area clean when they left."

"Outstanding service and outcome. House looks almost brand new. Siding and eaves extremely clean. Deck cleaned and stained, looks wonderful. Josh did as he said he would do...when he said he would do it. Estimate was right in line with final invoice. Kept me updated with numerous voicemails. Very customer focused. Plus, he delivers on his commitments.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.
