"Men on the Move moved us from our Ann Arbor, MI, home to an apartment in Cincinnati Ohio. Howard and Jimmy were amazing. They showed up on time, and were efficient and extremely careful with all of our belongings. Even though they did not finish loading the truck until almost 4:00, they still drove to Cincinnati that evening as they had planned. The next morning they showed up at exactly 8:30. Moving our belongings into our third floor apartment was not easy. Each load involved putting items onto the dolly or carrying them from the truck a few hundred feet to the door that lead to the freight elevators. Once on the third floor, they still had about a 6 or 8 minute walk to our apartment. They were careful to put each item into the room we had designated. Some items were put into a storage "cage" near the elevator, and they carefully stacked items up so that we could fit all the items into the space. Furniture was placed exactly where we requested. After working almost constantly, they again finished at about 4:00. They had no complaints and were always polite and positive. We highly recommend Men on the Move!"

The men picking up and delivering the car have always been pleasant and cooperative. Both Ely and Guy at United Transport has been highly responsive to my needs. "Driver got lost. Had to track him down on a very busy highway, where he had parked the auto carrier and our car in the left hand turning lane, with cars zipping by us. Driver very annoyed. When we were picked up in Florida, along with a friend and his car, the driver could not put his car on the carrier because it had a bike rack and bike on the back. Montway had told us it would be no problem, and we even paid an extra $100. We had to figure out how to take the bike apart and carry the remains in both cars."

"Three words: DO NOT HIRE In my opinion they were the most unethical, unprofessional and careless moving company I have ever encountered in ten moves over the years. Things were fine until they took my payment. Unfortunately, I fell for the sales pitch that they would take care of my expensive furniture and antiques. The communication and customer service immediately went downhill after paying. Numerous items were damaged in a move that was less than 15 minutes away and there was extensive damage to the wood floors and walls in both homes. The packers were rude and argumentative—just as were the staff members during the claim process—I guess it’s true about workplace behavior filtering from the top down! Filing a claim was the most unpleasant situation I’ve ever encountered. They failed to send someone to inspect the home I was selling in a timely manner, so I suffered a great loss because it sold immediately. They didn’t send qualified personnel for inspection and even though I filed detailed descriptions of damages, along with professional appraisals and photos they appeared to ignore it. In my opinion, the inspector appeared to be working for them and receiving pay offs for not reporting accurate damages. He was also rude and argumentative and kept telling me this or that was not damaged in the move! Even though I saw him photograph damages, the claims person did not appear to receive all of them. I couldn’t believe how dishonest everyone was during this process. Of course, I had taken photos showing the perfect condition of everything before Premier Relocations entered my home. They quoted paperwork they said I had received stating that most everything was excluded from damage, but I never received a copy and they couldn’t produce the paperwork to prove it. I NEVER signed or received anything like that—I NEVER would have hired them if they were not going to take responsibility for loss or damages to my belongings or homes. I had full value protection insurance and had thousands of dollars of damages and was only reimbursed a pittance. Their customer care department didn’t offer any assistance either—the advice I was given proved to be lies too. After wasting over $2,400.00 of my time, I decided to accept their insulting claim settlement even though I will NEVER agree with any of it. I had to move on and have my new home repaired so I could live in it. I regret doing so, but after wasting over $2400.oo of my time I had no choice and will just have to live my life knowing how they took advantage of me. I do regret not investigating them before hiring and seeing all the horrible reviews! I should have gone with a company with a lower estimate. They are affiliated with MAYFLOWER (referred me to Premier) and CORRIGAN (claims), so in my opinion, avoid those companies too! Three closing words: Do Not Hire PREMIER RELOCATIONS, MAYFLOWER or CORRIGAN!"

"My experience with Nick and everyone at NX Auto Transport was EXCELLENT!!! It was my first time working with an auto transport company and I am totally impressed. I was given GREAT advice from a knowledgeable person that actually showed interest and compassion about the services that were offered and received. I am VERY pleased... "DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have worked with several moving companies throughout the US in the past and this has been by far the WORST experience. Despite their name, the company was reckless and negligent when it came to packing, transporting and unloading. They broke at least 10 different items including a couch as a result of inappropriate packing and loading (several boxes labeled "fragile" arrived smashed). They were also careless in loading items- leaving several boxes behind that required them to be called to come a second time to retrieve the boxes AND failing to pack numerous items they were instructed to pack, resulting in the customer having to pay over $150 in shipping fees to get the items to the new location. The company failed to update the delivery address which resulted in them showing up to the wrong place and an hour delay for unloading. They also refused to place large furniture items in the correct spots which resulted in additional costs to the customer to have to hire separate movers to complete the job. The worst part of all of this however was the owner's rude, inappropriate and condescending approach to dealing with any of these issues. He refused to take ownership for any of these issues or compensate the customer for the extensive extra costs incurred due to failures on the part of the company (shipping fees, additional mover fees). The owner sent multiple harassing emails wherein he proceeded to call the customer a liar about indisputable issues (such as having previously provided the correct address, documenting items not packed as an error on the part of the company, numerous broken items, and photo-documentation of furniture not being properly placed in the new location). A formal complaint was lodged with the Better Business Bureau in hopes that they can intercede and prevent future customers from having to suffer such a horrific experience. As demonstrated by the multiple other 1 star reviews that highlight negligence and rude/inappropriate conduct by the owner, this is a recurrent theme and general business practice for Handle With Care Moving."
