Chris V., the plumber, who was professional and knowledgeable, came to our house and within an hour he had diagnosed, and de-clogged the main drain, and re-set the toilet. "I had several companies come to our house and help us figure out how to fix water leaking into our basement (nearly every time it rained). All 3 companies told me that we needed an interior drain system, with a variation on the type/cost. 4-Ever Water-Tite's bid was in the middle. What I liked best was how they were very familiar with my city (knew the inspector, mentioned other projects in the area, etc.). They also didn't try to get me to install stuff I didn't need, like a sump pump (another company stated we had to put one in but Bob told us it wasn't necessary for our city's drainage system). 
We paid a deposit and they came to do the project less than a week later. The project took 1 and 1/2 days (due to city inspection). We had one snafu during the project (water line broke and water gushed into my basement - which wasn't their fault at all) and they handled it incredibly well with no damage or additional cost to us. 
After they were done, we had a contractor come in several days later to replace the drywall that was taken out to install the drainage system. The contractor had no affiliation with 4-Every Water-Tite and he told us that they did an excellent job and "treated our house like it was their own."

"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

"Of course the A/C quits on the afternoon of the 90+ degree day! Fan and compressor were not working, but indoor fan was, meaning either a capacitor or contractor issue in the outdoor unit. Called office 10 minutes before they were done for the day, but was able to confirm a repair appointment for first thing the next morning. Technician (Sean) was here at 8 am, and after a 2 minute discussion and check, confirmed that capacitor was the issue. Still under warranty from Bryant, so that was a plus, but I was surprised that there was a failure after only 3 years since last unit ( also a Bryant, nd installed by AC Engineers after house was built in 1997) never had a problem for the 17 years we had it until replaced with the higher efficiency unit. The interesting comment from the technician was that he would likely replace 5-6 more capacitors that day (!!!!!), not tied to any particular brand of unit, but more because all the manufacturers use the same capacitor from the same source, and "they literally don't build them like the used too". Rather illuminating - In addition to the capacitor fix, he did a full service check of the system. Excellent job, responsive and knowledgeable."

"I'm very happy with the service I received from Edge Plumbing. I had an emergency with my plumbing and needed my drain cleaned out the night before a holiday. Travis responded almost immediately upon choosing him as one of the plumbing services near me. He came over that night, and then returned the next morning at 8 AM. Very prompt and communication was constant. He got my drains all cleaned out, but found a break in my line which needed to be repaired. He identified where the exact location of the break and was very helpful working with the excavator to get my line repaired. I'm very pleased with his service, communication, timeliness, and very fair cost. I would definitely use Edge Plumbing again."

The owner/operator Lara was very quick to respond to my query sent via Angi's List and had an appointment sent in less than a week. For unforeseen reasons, the work ended up taking more than one day, but she was able to squeeze in the additional work time a couple of days later. The quality of the work is outstanding and I really appreciated the way she kept me apprised of the work as it unfolded, explaining all of the details of the work and any issues that arose that required additional cost. I like her and her assistance's work so much that I scheduled her to also repair a janky gas line in the basement that she noted when doing her initial inspection of the place. What I appreciate most is that I know she uses quality parts and does everything to code, and warranties her work. It helps me rest easier, given the poor workmanship and shoddy treatment I've gotten from other contractors."
