"David was incredibly responsive and had great customer service. He cares about the customer being satisfied with the job. The deck turned out very nice. (note: I was a tiny bit worried about the painter diluting the stain (oil based) with water but it seems this is something that's sometimes done when using a sprayer. I do wish it was diluted with mineral based solution vs water but everything seemed to turn out well and I'm happy with my deck)"

Small jobs welcome

"Levi was tasked to bring back our original 1900 wood floor in our Craftsman. HE DID! He is extremely detailed and creative. He is extremely communicative and we were always on the same page. Levi went above and beyond as he fixed trim that another contractor screwed up. He matched the woods so well. I genuinely cannot thank him enough for restoring our home to her original beauty. We will hire him again."

"He did a really great job. The attention to detail was spot on and the wash was better than I could imagine. He traveled to my house and got it done. I could have asked for better service. With very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend for anyone in need of a pressure wash around the house or anywhere needed."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Yes, it's a good idea to sand the wall with fine-grit sandpaper after spackling, especially if you plan on painting. You can do this by hand or using a sander, but the idea is to ensure the spackle is flush with the wall. Sanding will give your wall a smooth, uniform finish and help your paint and wallpaper stay put.

Ensure gutters and downspouts remain clean, monitor wall integrity, and promptly address any arising imperfections or peels concept permanence rooted.

The best temperature to paint a pool deck is between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, because many paints and sealers require temperatures warm enough for the chemical reaction to take place for proper curing. The paint should not be allowed to freeze, and temperatures above 90 degrees can cause the paint to dry too quickly, also preventing the chemical reaction from following through to completion.

Whether to brush or roll stain on wood depends on the project and your preference. Brushing is ideal for smaller, intricate areas and offers more control over the application, ensuring thorough coverage and penetration into the wood's grain.

Conversely, rolling is efficient for more extensive, flat surfaces and can save time. However, it is not always the best fit for textured or uneven wood. Some projects may benefit from combining both methods, using a brush for detail work and a roller for broader areas. Ultimately, the choice between brushing and rolling depends on the specific requirements of your staining project.

Yes, it is generally a very good idea to seal your deck after pressure washing. Power washing removes not only dirt and debris but also a thin layer of wood, leaving the surface exposed and more susceptible to weathering. Sealing is almost always needed after this process. After a general cleaning, sealing isn't automatically necessary if the existing sealant is still intact. You can test the surface by placing a few drops of water on it. If the water beads up, the sealant is working. If it soaks into the wood, it's time to apply a new sealant. If it has been a few years, it's wise to remove the old sealant, wash the deck, and reseal for maximum protection.
