We are a "customer service" company that happens to specialize in moving. We are small enough to treat each job with special care and flexibility, and yet, we have enough crews to handle any size job. Whether you are moving one piece, your home, or an entire office, Marching Ant Moving handles each job with professional service.

"It was great. They called and showed up on time. The office was really good. There's 3 of them. Very professional and careful with it."

As a multi-year Super Service Award winner, Premier Relocations LLC is a family owned moving business with decades of industry experience. The Mayflower Transit name is the most recognized name in the moving industry. We opened Premier Relocations LLC because we wanted to build something special in our community and bring the Mayflower standards to the Detroit suburbs. Every day we move people, but every move is different. We love our customers and strive to build lifelong relationships. What sets us apart from our competitors is our people, our care, and our effort; we will always look to make things right if we do something wrong. Angi's customers should feel confident in hiring Premier Relocations for their moving needs by reading reviews from our loyal customers and reviewing our numerous industry awards. We have won or have been runner up for the Mayflower Customer Choice Award several times. See the difference for yourself. We would love the opportunity to partner with you and meet all of your moving needs.

"Three words: DO NOT HIRE In my opinion they were the most unethical, unprofessional and careless moving company I have ever encountered in ten moves over the years. Things were fine until they took my payment. Unfortunately, I fell for the sales pitch that they would take care of my expensive furniture and antiques. The communication and customer service immediately went downhill after paying. Numerous items were damaged in a move that was less than 15 minutes away and there was extensive damage to the wood floors and walls in both homes. The packers were rude and argumentative—just as were the staff members during the claim process—I guess it’s true about workplace behavior filtering from the top down! Filing a claim was the most unpleasant situation I’ve ever encountered. They failed to send someone to inspect the home I was selling in a timely manner, so I suffered a great loss because it sold immediately. They didn’t send qualified personnel for inspection and even though I filed detailed descriptions of damages, along with professional appraisals and photos they appeared to ignore it. In my opinion, the inspector appeared to be working for them and receiving pay offs for not reporting accurate damages. He was also rude and argumentative and kept telling me this or that was not damaged in the move! Even though I saw him photograph damages, the claims person did not appear to receive all of them. I couldn’t believe how dishonest everyone was during this process. Of course, I had taken photos showing the perfect condition of everything before Premier Relocations entered my home. They quoted paperwork they said I had received stating that most everything was excluded from damage, but I never received a copy and they couldn’t produce the paperwork to prove it. I NEVER signed or received anything like that—I NEVER would have hired them if they were not going to take responsibility for loss or damages to my belongings or homes. I had full value protection insurance and had thousands of dollars of damages and was only reimbursed a pittance. Their customer care department didn’t offer any assistance either—the advice I was given proved to be lies too. After wasting over $2,400.00 of my time, I decided to accept their insulting claim settlement even though I will NEVER agree with any of it. I had to move on and have my new home repaired so I could live in it. I regret doing so, but after wasting over $2400.oo of my time I had no choice and will just have to live my life knowing how they took advantage of me. I do regret not investigating them before hiring and seeing all the horrible reviews! I should have gone with a company with a lower estimate. They are affiliated with MAYFLOWER (referred me to Premier) and CORRIGAN (claims), so in my opinion, avoid those companies too! Three closing words: Do Not Hire PREMIER RELOCATIONS, MAYFLOWER or CORRIGAN!"

No instate moves. Must leave state. Long Distance Moving Carrier serving 25 states, in business since 2006. Family owned and operated. Not a broker, Agent or referral service. We understand moving can be stressful, and we’re here to make sure you get the help you need and deserve. We are the top company in this industry, so you don’t have to worry about the “guess work” of finding the right long-distance moving company. You already found the BEST! Since 2006 we have stayed the path of 100 percent customer satisfaction. This achievement illustrates the significant focus Move Quick has on our customers.

"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

"The 2 people who actually showed up were professional, although they arrived very late, which I attribute to three poor management. I was quoted 3 guys for 8 hours, and only 2 showed up. They attempted to overcharge me the original quote. Long story short, Tower contracted a local company and did a poor job of handing over the job."

Piano Moving questions, answered by experts

The average cost to hire professionals to move a gun safe ranges between $200 to $525. The cost varies significantly depending on the safe’s size, weight, and location. However, the total bill can increase if it is a large safe and a complex move. Consult a local moving company that specializes in safe moving to determine the estimated cost of this service.

The best way to save money when hiring a moving company is to pack and protect your belongings yourself, which includes wrapping delicate items in bubble wrap, putting belongings into organized boxes, and taping the boxes closed. You can then leave the more dangerous and physically demanding work—like loading and unloading the boxes and moving furniture—to the professionals. You can also save money by scheduling services in advance and moving during the off-season, which is usually the winter.

First, snap some photos of the piano so you can prove if damage happens during the move. Second, secure the lid and wrap it in bubble wrap and furniture blankets ahead of the move (especially if movers aren’t handling this step for you). Third, if you aren’t sure about tight spaces, take measurements and check your gaps to make sure clearance won’t be an issue. On the day of the move, keep kids and pets far away from the movers and piano to avoid accidents.

Hiring professional movers costs an average of $1,700, but prices range between $920 and $2,530 for local moves. Long-distance moves—usually over 100 miles— will be significantly more expensive, ranging from $2,700 to $10,000. Some factors that affect your moving expenses include the number of movers required for the work, additional services like packing and unpacking, the home size, storage needs, and the distance required to travel to your new home. Don’t forget to account for moving costs like renting a moving truck, tipping movers, and moving supplies.

There are different types of moving companies, and you’ll want to look for one that has experience moving houses. Ask them how many houses they’ve moved, how long they’ve been in business, whether they coordinate all of the labor, permits, and subcontractors needed, and what their liability is for any damages incurred.
