"Been a few years now. It’s been a constant stubble since day 1. They were late. I took the day off. Sprinklers are almost ALL to low for my grass height. I constantly have to monitor the system as I have heads not popping up consistently. I then have to go dig them up and take out the pressure regulator valve which part of what makes the i20 hunters cost more in the first place. Technicians have been a few times in the first year putting bandaids on things and showing me how to fix them. I don’t bother calling them anymore as I know they are not going to come raise all the sprinklers or put 6in heads on them. Multiple sprinklers don’t sit straight in the ground either which is another fight on its own. All in all I would never do it again with this company. The staff and secretary were great with me. Workers were friendly just not good at rhere job except the lead tech who was the only one who spoke partial English also which made it even harder. Feel free to ask me about the rest of the problems if you wish."

"I sought an estimate to replace an awful cartridge filter (for a 22,000-gallon inground pool!!) with a DE filter, which I know is much more efficient, having had an inground pool and DE filter in the past. SMPPros did not install the pool or the cartridge filter. At the time I assumed a DE filter was going to be installed but was not. These terrible cartridge filters work for small Intex pools because you can throw them away but, in my opinion, no way for an inground pool. I received several estimates, and Dale Traister's was very reasonable. I scheduled for the install, chose my DE filter from SMPool Pros (they had it in stock--professional business), and Duane promptly came out and installed it. He also had to replumb because it was quite large and needed to be fit into the existing plumbing. It was quite a job. Duane did an excellent job. We absolutely love this DE filter; the pool has been spotless all summer even in 95-degree heat. We also have a heater so the pool is quite warm. We have not even had to backwash it once because no algae! He will be opening and closing my pool in the future. I am so happy with this filter; do not hesitate to use Southern Michigan Pool Pros. Very professional and conscientious. The previous filter did not keep my pool clean; it was always green and full of chemicals which did not work. The new DE filter cleaned up the pool within a day, and it has been amazing all summer long with only minimal chlorine tabs. Thank you, Duane!!"
