"The people who came were hard workers. However, there was still some shadows (ghosting on the walls) they couldn't clean. I didn't like the steam cleaning because it took a few days to dry and was somewhat messy."

"Charles (the owner) and his son were prompt in arriving. They did a rough measurement of the area to be cleaned and went to work like the professionals that they are. The results definitely exceeded my expectations! And, although my flooring wasn't extremely dirty, there were a few really bad spots in the grout in my laundry room and they handled them with no problem!"

"Wonderfully; worked with Chris who was incredibly responsive from my first call. They scheduled their day at a time that worked well for us - and on the day of - Chris was right there to make sure things went well. They had a crew that unfortunately was unable to work that day due to a car accident that morning - Chris herself rearranged all the houses including ours and made the drive out herself to ensure we still were cleaned within the timeframe we were seeking. Impeccable service - the house looked absolutely terrific afterward -Chris and her team member were thorough, fast and courteous. Will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend to anyone else needing residential cleaning - you won't be disappointed!"

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.

Suggesting regular dusting and spot cleaning to maintain freshness.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

Before starting on a full refinishing project, determine if your floors need to be completely sanded down to the bare wood or if the damage is shallow and mostly cosmetic. Deep scratches and gouges will require you to rough sand using a drum sander or belt sander, but small surface scratches or floors that have only lost their luster don’t need a complete overhaul. Instead, you can skip the rough sanding step and sand-screen the old finish with a buffer, removing only the top layer of polyurethane.

Yes, you can polish an old cement floor. However, be aware that the first pass with the concrete grinder may reveal a few surprises and imperfections. You may also have to contend with the consequences of previous floor coverings, such as tile or carpet, which can leave a pattern in the concrete. Old concrete is more likely to produce uneven results if you want to use a dye or other coloring.
