He is very knowledgeable in everything that he does. We also had him come and stain our deck and once again he did an excellent job. You can drywall an unheated garage because the material handles cold temperatures perfectly well. There are no risks or downsides to installing drywall in a garage that is not heated, and the material stands up to moisture and other elements quite well. Drywall will protect your unheated garage's electric wires and cables and add fire protection. However, for effective bonding, you should install drywall at a temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

In most cases, walls don’t have to be removed to rewire a house. Much of the new wiring can be run through attics and crawlspaces, and then electricians often use a tool called fish tape to pull the cables through the walls via cut access points that can be easily patched up without requiring any major demo work.

Drywall can get wet and dry out without sustaining permanent damage, but only if the water damage is minor. If you have a small leak and are quick to correct the issue and set up blower fans and dehumidifiers, your drywall should dry out. If the leak is persistent, the drywall becomes totally waterlogged, or mold begins forming on the drywall, you should remove and replace it.

Drywall installation is considerably faster and more affordable than plastering. Because plastering involves applying a wet material, it’s more time-consuming, takes longer to dry, and is more prone to cracking. It doesn’t tend to be as insulative either. If you need resurfacing work done on the walls, it's not unusual for the cost of plastering to hit $10 per square foot, which is much higher than the drywall installation costs of $1.50 to $3 per square foot.
