"Old sump had fried without our knowledge and basement acquired water. Had NO clue on how to replace/reinstall the replacement pump we purchased or hook it up, so we called Dependable. Set up appt for that day, they called back within 2 hours to confirm that their tech Jeremy was on his way. Professional, prompt response, courteous, and took the time to explain the sump system and preventative measures we should take in the future. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and will use them again with no hesitation."

I. should have followed my friends advice and we t elsewhere now I'm locked in this stupid overpriced loan/quote repeated.calls go unanswered... Coldest part of the year afraid waiting is going to damage other pipes most my house plants.are dying and.weare freezing"

It is generally safe to stay in a house with sewer gas for a short time, even though short-term exposure is unpleasant. However, prolonged inhalation can cause headaches, nausea, or respiratory irritation. High levels of methane—which is in sewer gas—can pose an explosion risk in enclosed spaces. Ventilate the area and call a pro if you smell sewer gas or experience related health symptoms.
