"I contacted SuperMen moving on  a Thursday night via their website and I received a quote the next morning. They also offered to come on Sunday - which worked well for me. On the morning of the service, they called to let me know they were on their way. The team of two were professional, friendly and engaging. They moved and disposed of multiple large and heavy items in a little over an hour from my second floor and from my walk out basement. It was an excellent experience from first contact to completion. "These guys were great!! We had a delivery of a massive new front, all in one piece, very heavy. They handled it of total care and stored it in our garage with all the very long trim pieces for installation next day. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.
