You can rinse your solar panels in some cases. For example, periodically rinsing your solar panels can remove light debris if you live in an agricultural or dusty area. The time it takes to pressure wash your driveway is mainly based on size (but your driveway’s material and condition also play a role). Small driveways can be pressure washed within an hour, medium within two hours, and large within four hours. However, this does not consider any prep time or time that sealing your driveway would take.

While some pressure washers, when used at lower settings, are ok to use on tires, we suggest proceeding with caution. While the high pressure alone won’t cause damage to your tires, pressure washers emit high-frequency pulsations that can damage the tires’ sidewall cords. Using a medium-bristle brush and soapy water is a better bet if you want to keep your tires in tip-top shape.

Experts agree that spring and fall are the best times to pressure wash a home’s exterior due to the mild weather. Line up a pressure washing project once every year, anywhere from March to November, for the best results. This will vary by location, but aim for a warm, dry season, whenever that may be in your climate. 

While a pressure washer is certainly powerful enough to remove old and peeling paint, this is not a great idea to do yourself. The pressure washer is so powerful that you could actually damage the walls as you strip away the paint. It’s best to leave paint stripping to the pros.
