"Mike is a pro. Everything you hope for when you hire someone for a project in your home. He shows up when he says he will. The job got done when he said it would be done. He is very detail oriented and CLEAN! I know Drywall is a messy trade but he was so clean. Couldn't be happier with how everything turned out for us 10/10"

"These guys were awesome and great to work with. They did an excellent job with the small odd jobs I needed done such as hanging trim, finishing the back of my island, putting on my toe kick, hanging and finishing a bit of dry wall. They were always in communication and came in at their quoted budget. I would recommend them for any type of job and will be reaching out to them for future jobs."

Small jobs welcome

"Paul was excellent to work with on our project. Very fair pricing and the work was done quickly and he did a great job. The communication was fantastic and he always kept us in the loop on the status of our project. We had several repairs after electrical work and he completed the job in a day and a half. Super nice and professional, would highly recommend to anyone needing drywall service!!!"

"We hired Alan recently to re-drywall part of our basement that needed to be re-finished after having some water issues during the heavy rains last spring. The wall looks great, and Alan did a great job. He was good to work with, fair on price, got the project done in a timely fashion, and we would use his services again."

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

The longevity of flood walls depends on how they were constructed, but most wood, gravel, and cement flood walls last 10 years. While aluminum flood walls may cost far more initially, they can be a good investment as they can last decades and will not be damaged by exposure to the elements.

Options include concrete, stone, brick, and wood, tailored for specific design needs.

A retaining wall can only function as a fence if it’s high enough on all sides to prevent someone from accidentally falling into the pool. However, most retaining walls retain dirt, which means their purpose is not related to safety. There would need to be nothing on the other side of the wall for it to be considered a fence, but in that case, it wouldn’t retain anything and would cease to be a retaining wall.

Installation typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the wall’s size and site conditions.

Sand and gravel are two suitable options for filling behind a retaining wall. If you’re building your own retaining wall, you’ll complete this part of the process—known as backfilling—after you finish laying the blocks. Make sure not to skip it—otherwise, you could wind up with drainage issues, which can cause your retaining wall to collapse.
