"Hands down an awesome experience working with Tony. My floor is beautiful! As a new homeowner, it was really nice to have someone that would help me narrow down the flooring options alongside me to find something that worked well in the space, was the aesthetic that I was looking for, and within my budget! He also paid close attention to the placement of each plank of wood so to make the whole floor feel cohesive and lovely. Chef's kiss. I love the floor. Communication was prompt. The work was tidy and efficient. I'd work with Tony again in a heartbeat."

J&M was created as a business that will eventually be handed down to my sons. The tasks the business handles are those that require general building and maintenance skills. Any skills acquired for these jobs were ones that I learned from my dad or grandfather, both of which were licensed builders. I stand behind all work the business does with a 100% money back guarantee.

"This crew did an excellent job. The floors look amazing. They got the job done in less time than I expected, it only took them a day and a half to do three bedrooms and a hallway and the living room. They were very friendly and trustworthy as well. They cleaned up after themselves and move my furniture back to the proper places. They even let my dog out several times throughout the day for me since I was at work. I would recommend them and will use them again for a future floor installations."

"Before the project started I asked them if they would quiet down the creaky floor they then said they tried, they put over 100 screws in the floor but if I want it quiet I would have to raise the foundation to replace the joist, and put a new subfloor down and I told him no I'm fine with this squeaky floor, they did say I would need some leveling compound to even the floor( which they did put some gray stuff on the floor along two walls and started laying the floor starting about two feet from the wall and stopping short of wall trim, stating I would need some quarter round. For living room) but they continued the project at which time Not once did they tell me that this type of flooring was not recommended for living rooms because it's really thin nor did they take wall trim off and stop so I wouldn't need quarter round. When they finished Thursday night( 12-12-24) at 8 pm they didn't do a walk thorough but that morning(12-13-24) I looked around and saw numerous issues and felt how uneven the flooring was as I rode over the floor( I'm in a wheelchair) at which time I called and text and received no response until 1 pm which Colin Anderson text saying they didn't like that they would fix and he would call me about 5-5:30 pm but he never did. Hoffman finally answered when I contacted you guys saying he didn't want to do the job because the floor was bad, the thing is is the floor was so bad, then why did they do the job anyway? You can feel how uneven the floor is and the flooring is warped and makes a cracking sound as you walk or roll through( I'm in a wheelchair). Our family and friends saw the numerous flaws as well as how uneven the flooring was. The floor may not last 6 months with all the flaws. I've called and texted numerous times and still haven't heard from Colin to resolve this problem. Living room $1046.00 Kitchen $705.00"

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

You should always calculate real estate development costs on a case-by-case basis, so there’s no specific formula to estimate your total. You should speak with a local construction manager to see what you’ll need to do in terms of clearing and leveling the land, connecting utilities, and pulling permits for construction. A professional will be able to get you an accurate estimate for land development.

A boundary survey measures the boundary lines of the property, only the length of each property line and their locations. A land survey includes a more in-depth measurement of the property, including the heights and depths of the terrain measured by a topographic survey. A boundary survey is typically the most cost-effective method for marking and measuring property lines.

A land survey defines and records the physical aspects of a property, including its boundaries, dimensions, easements, features, and sometimes topographical information. In contrast, a land appraisal determines the property's monetary value. While an appraiser will often consult a land survey to understand the property's physical specifications, the survey itself does not determine the land's value.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.
