Wolverine Flooring

They never completed the job. Left 1/2 of the floors unsealed and when called was met with resistance and was not willing to complete the job and had to hire someone else to finish. Work was not done through Wolverine but sub?d to one other guy. They also did not clean up and of the dust that they made. Stay away!!!

Be aware that Derek Carpenter bought this business from Pat within the last year or so. Derek and his team refinished my floors, which look great, but I have been trying for MONTHS to get him to come back to finish one simple detail and now he has blocked my number. Also, nobody EVER showed up at the time they said they would so if you have a set schedule, be aware of that. Not just a little late, more like two hours or more.

Had my 20 year old hardwood floor refinished. Derek did an awesome job. The floor looks better than new.

Awesome job on my hardwood floors! We really thought they were unsalvageable but the look gorgeous! The owner, Pat, was great about staying in touch and edited my estimate several times without complaint when I kept changing my mind on what I wanted. The crew was professional and very nice. I highly recommend Wolverine.

I bought an older home. The floors were in very bad condition. Wolverine sanded and stained to make them beautiful again!

They will not refund, they will not fix. I wish i saw the reviews first. I wanted to like them, i was looking for a glued down waterproof floor for my business. They were nice to start with, quoted $8k but got some things in the quote wrong and corrected it quickly. They got the old floor up and then out sourced the job to someone who was nice but did a pretty bad job, had to call multiple times to get glue off the trim, cut vents that were forgotten and found beer bottles in the yard AFTER declared finished which was weeks after i was told it would be done. I could not get ahold of Pat most of the time to get questions answered and there was a lot of miscommunication between him and the worker. And then the floor started coming up, all over. So i marked the spots the floor with tape and they glued them down again. I waited a few weeks and it seemed ok, they wanted their other half of payment so I paid and they said they would come fix if anything came up or loose. Now it is peeling up off the floor in places, its been 3 to 4 months, still not fixed. Large bubbles and pieces peel right up. I have a feeling this is going to be a problem for the life of the floor. This is not acceptable and I have asked for a refund of only $3k to try to fix it because I do not feel this is work well done. They will not reply. I am a single female business owner and this is a hard hit and very, very discouraging. I have had another opinion and the floor will need to be redone.

We had a very odd soft wood flooring issue and they were able to get us results we are happy with.

They did a fantastic job on thus project. Great communication, quick in responses, great result!

Pre-paid $600. 2 floors, delays in getting it done, floors looked like a mop and wax job, not worth money, the handyman who was there said the floors were not buffed or light sand as promised. Came out to look, said they were fine, did not understand what mop and the wax job should look like, offered no solution except to pay more money!

Workers smoked and left garbage in my house. They got stains on the walls, and spilled polyurethane on my bedroom door, and did not clean any of it up. It took 4 weeks longer than quoted, and the communication was very poor. There were spots where the finish was placed over clumps of dirt or sawdust. A closet door was placed outside at the beginning of the job, and left there for the entirety of the project, resulting in damage to the doors finish. The floor ended up looking nice, but it was more than a headache getting there.

Took way too long. Had floors done back in 2002. That company did it in four days. Wolverine took two weeks and did not final seal the floor as I requested. Got attitude from his employees when I asked for them not to leave their lunch trash around my house. Should have rented the equipment myself, did the job in a week and saved myself 2K.

They were fast, courteous , and clean. Very little dust. Nice job.

This company did not do the work specified. This company abandoned the project we hired them to do. The owner will not return my calls or texts. I now will have to hire someone else to do the job they did not do. I will share photos if you want them.

The finish work was excellent and the service people very courteous and skilled. Our only disappointment was the excessive amount of dust they created. We were told it would be 98% dust-free but it was not anywhere close to.

Not only did they do a beautiful job refinishing my floors they did a beautiful job cleaning up the dust!

Wolverine Flooring took our 108 year old original wood floor and restored it perfect. And no surprises, and finished within the quoted price. Thanks.
