"Bellevue construction company built me a brand new garage from the ground up. The quality of work was amazing. They were so detailed in everything they did. It was truly a seamless process from beginning to end. Their pricing is very fair and they were great to work with."

"Working with Dave was fantastic. One of the best builders I've ever worked with. Punctual, he and his team showed up when he said they would. Quality of the work is excellent. Pricing was very fair and final invoice was on target. Pleasant and easy-going, when we decided to make changes in the middle of the project, he quickly estimated the cost and communicated clearly, allowing us to make subsequent adjustments. I live in New Hampshire and my sisters live in California and we all work full-time, so it was difficult to be on-site during the project. While I was there intermittently, we communicated mostly by email and text, including photos, as the project progressed. This was incredibly helpful and permitted real-time input when the inevitable questions arose. His willingness to work with us in this way made the entire process so easy. We plan to hire Dave and his crew again in the future without hesitation. I highly recommend them."

"We had an excellent experience working with Joe Lane last spring, when we hired him and his team to make some repairs to our small cabin on the ledge of a steep mountain. Joe gave us a very reasonable estimate, which he stuck with. He also worked with us to find the best time of year to get his truck and materials up the steep slope, and was great about staying in communication with us throughout the process. We asked him to convert the cabins small attic into a loft, with a ladder/stairs to get up there and a new window. The results were beyond what we were expecting - the finished product was absolutely stunning, and completely transformed the whole space. The quality of the work was exceptional, the communication was great, and Joe and his brother and dad were lovely to work with. I cant recommend this company highly enough."

"Andrew and his crew did an amazing job building this garage. Even though he ran into some issues with the supplier of products he went above and beyond to make sure we were kept informed. Additionally, he also replaced (and improved) an existing garage door in the lower level of our home. He also repaired some siding on our house. They even put our two garage door openers in. Overall, we were more than please with his work and his crew."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use a storage shed several ways, including as a chicken coop, but you'll need to make some modifications. You will have to add a chicken door, roosts, ventilation near the roof, mesh on the windows, and insulation if you live in a colder climate. Additionally, you’ll want to ensure that the shed is predator-proof so no other animals can harm your chickens. You should also add a run and nest boxes to your shed.

Yes, barndominiums can be two stories. Blueprints for barndominiums can safely support multiple stories or vaulted ceiling heights of 14 feet or more. Barndominiums are prized for their ability to be modified and customized to suit the builder’s preferences, and many barndominium construction companies offer a variety of different floor plans to choose from.

The most common slope, or roof pitch, for a shed is 4:12 or four inches of height for every horizontal foot. For areas that experience heavy snow loads, a steeper roof of 6:12 or 9:12 is best.

The lifespan of a barn is typically 40 to 60 years, but with skillful construction and proper maintenance, it can last up to 100 years. The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the barn type, materials, usage, and climate. For example, the posts of a pole barn should last 50 years or longer, but if the structure is used for livestock in a rainy climate, it may rot within the first decade. Custom designs with high-end materials tend to last the longest. To get the best estimate for your barn's lifespan, you should consider its material type and intended use.

Whether a prefab home is worth it or not will depend on your personal needs and preferences. Overall, prefab homes tend to cost less than traditional homes, although they also tend to have lower resale values. Another thing to consider is that prefab homes usually last 50 to 60 years or longer, while traditional homes last 50 to 100 years or more.
