We are a husband and wife team for over 16 years. We specialize in interior and exterior painting. We are a full service painting company that offers roofing siding replacement carpentry and flooring

"When first hired in 2020, the Crockers seemed to do okay. But as time went on, problems with them developed. Not even weeks after the job was sort of completed, they still needed to redo the paint on the porch, the paint started peeling off the walls. They were very unreliable in showing up on days they said they would. So to make a long story short, they failed to complete the painting job we had contracted them to do. The painting they did was literally flaky. It has been four years (the job was guaranteed for five years) and every year they say they will come and fix the paint job but never show up. Needless to say, the house looks horrible with all the paint peeling off. Like someone else said, we very strongly urge people to NOT hire Chris and Jackie Crocker. They are con artists and will take your money and run, without completing the work they contracted to do for you. They will also do horrible painting and finishing job. Please---DO NOT HIRE these crooks!"

Plaster is a pretty tough surface, but it can still sustain damage from things like bumping against it, water issues, dampness, extreme humidity changes, and plain old age. Most plaster walls last hundreds of years and will only be taken down to the base layer when major repairs are required. Damp plaster does dry out, although the drying time depends on several factors, including the type of plaster, the surrounding temperature, moisture content, and the extent of the dampness. Sometimes, it can take weeks or months for wall plaster to dry naturally.

Plaster ceilings can sag for several reasons. In some cases, the plaster and other building materials shift and come apart over time, which is why you’ll commonly find drooping plaster ceilings in older homes. Improper installation, foot traffic, and water damage—often from a leaky roof or a broken pipe—can also cause plaster ceilings to sag.

If the holes in the plaster are small, you can fill them with layers of patching plaster until they’re filled. After it dries, you can sand the plaster and paint over it. If the hole is much larger, consider using bonding plaster first and then a layer of patching plaster, completing the process with sanding and a layer of paint.
