I graduated from Maine Maritime Academy and currently do have a day job but am looking for some side jobs for extra money. I built an addition on my house and found that I have quite a bit of talent in all areas of a house. I’ve installed my own heat pumps in my home, I’ve poured slabs, did all of the plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall, flooring, trimming, doors etc. I learned a great deal and would like to put that knowledge to use.

Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Do not install a TV above an active fireplace or wood-burning stove because of excess heat and temperature fluctuations. Another place that can be tricky for electronics is the bathroom, where moisture can be a factor. If you choose to mount a TV in these areas, you should find a weather-resistant appliance.
