"While the crew did excellent work, the major let down was Dan between the way the job was quoted and the way he builled made sure the estimate came out to the higher end of the quote, also he had a habit of telling his crew to do things without consulting the customer and these were things that added to cost. Also I accidentally overpaid him and are still waiting for the refund."

Window burglar bars are effective at deterring burglars. Would-be intruders look for houses they can get in and out of quickly. If they see burglar bars, they often won't attempt a break-in. If they do make an attempt, window security bars can withstand a good amount of force. Aside from protection from burglars, window bars also protect pets and children from falling.

To install window security bars, you have to mount the bars securely to opposite sides of the window frame. A home has structural framing directly behind window frames, so the screws you use to mount burglar bars need to be long enough to reach that framing.
