"Walter did a great job.  He came to our house as scheduled. He even called to say he was going to be a little late as another job was taking him longer than planned.  He came on a Saturday at no extra charge on his rates.
I was aware of what was causing the leak and what it would take to repair the leak by checking it on a self repair site on the internet.  I felt the job was a little above my level of expertise so we called a plumber.
Walter did only the work that was required and his price was astonishingly fair.  He is a licensed master plumber (we checked) who is self employed.  He did a great job and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend his services.

"Very professional. Jeromy wore a mask. He was polite and cleaned up the area after the install. I have a Choice Home Warranty and called them for the plumbing repairs. All i had to pay was a contractor service fee. In the future if i need a plumber i will ask for the Company OSP Plumbing in the Henderson/ Las Vegas Nevada area and ask for Jeromy."

"I called NE Renovations to book a plumber to come to my house to assess a water leak.  I left a voice mail message and Richard returned my phone call within the hour.  I explained my problem to him, he stated that they could definitely help me, and he came out the house the following morning.  Richard assessed the situation, determined that it appeared to be an isolated pressure leak issue, adjusted the drain hose to the washer, and told me that he did not believe the problem would happen again.  He stated that if it did, he could send someone out immediately.  Richard was correct and the problem has not happened again  I really appreciate Richard's prompt response.  I appreciate, even more, his honest response.  He did not try to "create a job" for his company where one was not really needed.  Richard did not charge me anything for his visit and time at my house checking out the leak and adjusting the drain hose.  Richard was very professional and friendly.  I intend on booking his company for some additional work around the house.  I was very satisfied with my experience and would recommend him."

Homemade Design (HMD) is America's leading online interior design service that provides a dedicated interior designer to work closely with you, to design and decorate your home for one extremely affordable fixed fee per room based on services required. \nWorking with your HMD interior designer is like having an interior designer best friend who evaluates your existing space, studies images of rooms you love, understands your budget constraints and explores the functional considerations that fit your lifestyle. HMD is the only flat-fee virtual consulting service that allows collaboration at multiple points in the process with our client. We help our clients navigate the design process by breaking it down into a linear process. First we analyze their likes and dislikes in terms of style and color, navigate budget vs. quality challenges and analyze the function of the room. Next we help you choose the major pieces in the room that will determine style and the overall color palette, and then we specify products and sources that fit within those parameters.\nThe design process is not universal to every design firm (or TV show.) Please call or email – we’d love to chat about your project and how we anticipate working with you to create your dream home!

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Schedule local professionals months in advance, as licensed contractors are scarce in ME. Secure all necessary permits from the town office for standard plumbing, well modifications, or septic work. Plan any project requiring excavation between May and October to avoid frozen ground. Order specialty parts early, because severe winter weather frequently delays material deliveries and contractor access to rural properties.

Helpful?

Inspect your system every spring in ME to catch hairline pipe cracks caused by winter freezes. Schedule an assessment if you experience dropping well pressure, short-cycling pumps, or slow drains paired with wet spots in the yard. For seasonal coastal properties, book a professional winterization before closing the house in the fall to drain lines and prevent severe freeze damage.

Helpful?

In Milbridge, coastal moisture on basement walls indicates a foundation issue, not a plumbing leak. Similarly, low water pressure or slow drains point directly to private well or septic system problems. If you notice cracked drywall near exterior walls after a hard freeze, a burst pipe caused the structural damage. Discolored water requires testing to determine if you need pipe replacement or a water treatment system.

Helpful?

Inadequate freeze protection and shallow well-to-house service lines cause catastrophic frozen pipes during harsh Milbridge winters. Using incorrect plumbing materials leads to rapid degradation from acidic local well water, causing pinhole leaks and contamination. Furthermore, taking shortcuts on septic system connections or omitting backflow prevention devices directly threatens your household drinking water and requires extensive, disruptive remediation to correct.

Helpful?

Thorough plumbing in Milbridge includes comprehensive freeze protection, such as heavy insulation and heat tape on vulnerable exterior pipes. Proper work accounts for acidic well water by using compatible, corrosion-resistant materials. A certified specialist will install required backflow prevention devices to protect your drinking water. Finally, a closed permit with a documented inspection sign-off confirms the project meets all state standards.
