"They delivered all our packing materials early so we could take our time, and the moving day itself could not have been more professionally handled. Would thoroughly commend the moving men themselves, and the office staff could not have been more helpful."

"Ive moved over 10 times being in the Military who usually pays for my move. This Move i was paying for after speaking to 5 different companies, Top Tier Van Lines was the most Honestout of them All! As they were the only ones to let me know the extra charges for wrapping my TVs, Mirrors , China Hutch, which none of the other moving company mentioned! The guys who picked me up were VERY professional all in Uniform and all employed by Top Tier Van Lines! The Foreman Alfonzo was Great as well as my Moving coordinator Brian was there for me from start to finish! Im Very Pleased with the overall move. I had a few scratches here and there but probably overall the best moves ive had thank you again"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Never attempt to move a partially-filled tank, especially with the fish still in it. Even a minor alteration or adjustment in your movement can cause the water to move, disrupting the balance and potentially causing you to drop the tank or strain your back to prevent it from falling. However, you should maintain enough water on the bottom to keep the substrate slightly submerged during transit.

Yes, you can use a dolly to move a treadmill, though you won't always need one. If your treadmill has wheels and you’re moving it to a different location on the same floor, you can likely skip the dolly. But if you’re moving it up a flight of stairs or to a new home, a dolly can help you move it more easily.

Moving a six-person hot tub typically requires at least four to six strong individuals. The exact number of people required depends on the hot tub's weight, dimensions, and any obstacles in the moving path. Additionally, professional movers may have specialized equipment to handle the task more efficiently with fewer people.

Once you complete the moving process, you’ll have to transition into paying for your new living expenses, including monthly rent or mortgage payments. You should also consider the cost of property taxes, utilities, and new furnishings for your home.

Cross-country moves are tricky and risky for your fish, so it’s often best to move the fish separately or rehome them. If you’re attached to your animals and determined to bring them, find a friend to house them and ship them to you once the new tank is ready. You can also contact your local fish store and ask if they offer temporary housing and shipping services until you get settled. If you’re moving to another country, it’s often best to sell the tank and fish, or find a good home locally.
