For $1000.00, the plumber removed the house trap and ran the line directly to the sewer, cleaned the sump basin, and we have not had an issue since. I do not think that Rob was being deceitful in any way, but I was disturbed that he did not find the existing basin which was under a large, loose tile in the utility room where we stood discussing the issue for 30 minutes.
