"Kerry is awesome! She and her assistant were immediately available and arrived on time. The project was removed quickly and effectively. The cost was half of another estimate. Kerry even contacted me later to warm me that there might be some broken glass and she didn’t want me to be hurt. If you have a small or medium size project, your DEBRIS will BE GONE in no time."

"They were great. Very friendly, and helped us pack all the loose ends we didn't fit into boxes and brought wardrobe boxes for hanging items. Wrapped all larger items with moving blankets and helped disassemble and reassemble items that were large or awkward. Thanks"

"I had a Groupon for 1000 sq. ft. of driveway sealing.  I have about 2000 sq. ft.  I bought the Groupon and called, and I was told it would be another $170, so I wanted to set the appointment.  It actually took a year to get done, as he had too many Groupon customers and was giving scheduling preference to his existing client base.  Once we had the appointment, they arrived on time, could not have been more pleasant, did a great job, and left the area spotless.

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

To prevent drain clogs, perform regular maintenance and cleaning. Avoid disposing of substances like grease or coffee grounds down the sink. Additionally, installing and routinely using drain strainers can help catch debris and prevent blockages from forming.

If the cost of repairing a leaking garbage disposal is close to the cost of replacing the disposal, then fixing the unit might not make sense. When deciding if you should repair or replace your garbage disposal, consider the age of your garbage disposal, the cost of the repair, and whether your garbage disposal has had other problems recently to help you decide if the cost of repairing the leak is better than the cost of replacing the disposal.

Replacing a garbage disposal costs anywhere from $150 to $950, but the average cost is somewhere around $550. There are two types of garbage disposal units, and continuous feed disposals tend to cost more than batch feed disposals. Going for an aluminum garbage disposal is also significantly cheaper than choosing a stainless steel garbage disposal. You'll also need to factor in the horsepower of the motor, labor, and the removal and disposal of your old unit.

You may be able to install a garbage disposal on your own, especially if you're handy or have some experience with plumbing. However, if you have any concerns or want to make absolutely sure that the connections are installed correctly, you may be better off hiring a local garbage disposal installer to do the job.

In some cases, it’s more cost-effective in the long run to replace a garbage disposal, but it depends on the specific issue you’re having and the age of your disposal. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.
