"So I live in a older house (1947) so the plumbing is older too. Anytime I used my sink dishwasher or laundry the water would all but flood my basement making it almost unusable. I called and talked to Seth he was able to get to my home the next day and diagnose the problem my pipes in the concrete were old and clogged beyond repair well he managed to completely redo all of my plumbing brand new and have it up and running in a matter of a few hours! I now have a dry usable basement. He gave me a very decent price as well! Now hopefully I don't need another plumber anytime soon but if I do I'm calling seth at SWB!"

"The crew started earlier than scheduled. They did everything they said they would despite blistering heat and high humidity. They treated my property like it was their own. They came in spot on budget and handled a few wrinkles in stride. Highly recommend Concrete Solutions."

"Our house succumbed to an entire freeze-up after a failure in the boiler system. Mid-February, in one of the coldest winters on record, CZ Plumbing was experienced in this type of crisis, and put our mind and home at ease. They took over from two other plumbing companies not able to handle such a large project, and got to work restoring all plumbing and heating pipes, bathroom fixtures, and were able to save the boiler. All work was carefully and cautiously done, making sure all aspects of the house interior fabric were treated well. Everything was completed within one week."

Regardless of the drain cleaner type you choose to use, they all work through chemical reactions that create heat. Thanks to the heat, the clogged hair begins to dissolve until it is able to be flushed away. To avoid clogs in your drain due to hair, use hair catchers and empty them out after every shower.

The cost to clean a sewer line is about $370, ranging from about $190 to $550 on average. The specific cleaning method and the problem's severity will impact the project's overall cost. Some of the most common sewer line cleaning methods include:

Air gaps get clogged by a few different means. Over time, food and grime can collect in the air gap, leading to a blockage. Mineral deposits from hard water are a common problem. Mineral buildup creates a film in the air gap and tubing, which can cause flow issues, as well as attract debris. Homeowners with hard water may want to remove mineral deposits regularly to keep the air gap clean and clear.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

Grease buildup, tree roots, and foreign objects often cause blockages. Regular maintenance prevents major issues.
