"I liked that there was no nonsense. Their salesman was straightforward and the price was fair. We were also impressed with the installers. They installed all the windows in 1 day and they look great. I'm happy I chose them."

"

From sales to installation, the process was exceptionally smoothly and everything happened as was originally scheduled and promised. Communication was excellent, advice from the estimator was spot-on, the quality of the doors even better than what we expected and the installation was EXPERT. The doors look fabulous, work perfectly, and the installer did a much better job than what we could have done ourselves. We are so glad that we decided to outsource this service and we highly recommend this company.

"Excellent service having my garage ceiling drywalled. They arrived when they said they were going to and were super about cleaning up after the job. Every step was thoroughly explained, including why they chose the materials they did. They had 2 other businesses come in to handle a couple of things. They explained why they did that and still came in under the estimated cost for the job. I am very pleased and will definitely not hesitate to hire them in the future."

"Everything went great. They picked up everything when they left. Coming back to fix a leak and do a little more trim I asked for. Working on an estimate for interior work I’ve asked for and walkway outside. Very polite and knowledgeable"

Doors questions, answered by experts

When hanging a door frame, it’s recommended that you use screws, not nails. Screws are more secure, easier to tighten, and easier to remove if you need to adjust the frame. On average, the cost to replace a door frame is about $400, but you can save on labor costs if you’re confident in your ability to DIY the project.

Steel doors are among the most affordable options for your front door. Steel doors are worth the cost if you’re looking for a budget-friendly door that maximizes home security and energy efficiency. Plus, they can last up to 100 years, making them a high-quality and long-term investment.

It can affect security, especially if you don’t finish it properly. A Dutch door has more moving parts that can be compromised, so you’ll want to use solid hardware and make sure everything lines up and locks cleanly. If the latch is flimsy or the two halves don’t sit tight, it’s going to be easier to force open.

Not every door can be converted into a pocket door. Pocket doors require specific hardware and a hollow space within the wall to slide into when open. The door must be sturdy enough to handle the sliding mechanism but not too heavy, as excessive weight can cause operation and track alignment issues. While some standard interior doors can be adapted for use as pocket doors with the right hardware, it's essential to ensure the door's compatibility and the structural feasibility of creating a pocket in the wall.

Pocket and standard doors are similar in price, but pocket doors cost more to install than standard doors. Professionals usually charge around $150 to $200 to hang a standard door. But if you're installing a pocket door on an existing wall, you'll likely pay between $1,000 and $3,500
