"We're happy our Augusta location was able to help! We understand that a garage door that isn't working can be a huge inconvenience. We look forward to working with you again."
From sales to installation, the process was exceptionally smoothly and everything happened as was originally scheduled and promised. Communication was excellent, advice from the estimator was spot-on, the quality of the doors even better than what we expected and the installation was EXPERT. The doors look fabulous, work perfectly, and the installer did a much better job than what we could have done ourselves. We are so glad that we decided to outsource this service and we highly recommend this company.
"We hope you enjoy the safety, security, & convenience provided by your new garage door opener! Thank you so much for your business and we look forward to serving all of your future garage door needs!"
"We hope you love your new garage doors! It has been a pleasure working with you. Thank you for your business and for taking the time to leave a review for Angie's List. We hope you will keep us in mind when it's time for annual Planned Maintenance to keep those new doors lubricated & adjusted."
The company was great, very professional and responsive even at a holiday, when service is often
unavailable from other companies. Another good experience with service from Overhead Door.
Meanwhile, their website had changed and I had joined Angie's list and read the company's reviews and found a $50.00 coupon. So, after waiting three weeks to hear back from the salesman, I called and asked about the item missing from the quote and mentioned the Angie's list coupon. He said he would not charge me for the item, which was very nice. Then he said he didn't know anything about the Angie's list coupon, so asked me to mail a copy to him and he would let me know if he would take it. After giving the deposit and mailing the coupon, it took a couple of phone calls from me to get the installation date. I still did not hear whether or not he would take the coupon. Two days before installation he called to say they were changing the installation to the next day, and that ended up being fine. I received an approximate time and installers arrived within the hour and were very good about explaining things and doing the installation. There was no mess when the installers were done. The final bill did have the Angie's coupon taken off.
The door looks great and the motor works well. My disappointment was in getting the salesman to respond to questions in a timely and direct manner. It took almost two months from my first call to the company and getting the door and opener installed.
Our salesman forgot to email us the promised quote the following day and didn't send it until a week later, after I called to ask about the delay. Then he forgot to call us to schedule the installation when the doors came in. This, too, slipped his mind. He called the day before the installation. Then he forgot to tell us we needed an electrician to install ceiling outlets for the door motors. When I asked him why he didn't tell us during the month we waited for the doors ha said he assumed we already had the outlets when he looked at our garage. (Despite the fact that we have never had motorized doors on that garage.) He said he would bring extention cords so that we would have working doors that evening. Then he called at 2:30PM to say that he wouldn't have time to bring the cords that day. He would bring them the next day. I can't remember working with a worse salesman.
The installer was his opposite. Professional, competent, responsible, personable. The doors were installed perfectly.
Good experience with company. Awful experience with the salesman.
Our garage is underneath the house and in the end was the deciding factor that made us go with the better insulated and more
expensive door.
We are very pleased with the look of our new garage doors and would definitely recommend this company to others.
"Thank you so much for the recommendation! With so many garage doors to choose from we know we can help our customers find the perfect solution to any home improvement project. We’re grateful for the opportunity to do business with you and we can’t wait to work with you again!"
